To all I am sorry I have been AWOL but very much busy with work that I didn't even have time to surf the sites and see what you all have been up too. I have lost count of how many kilometers I have driven and worked, but what can I say, work does come first especially when you work for yourself LOL. I have missed you all, that is one thing I know, missed popping in to see the wonderful art you all seem to produce and the lovely cards, but hey I am here now and checking it out again and it feels good.
I did have a day with my bestie yesterday and we made some hexagonal cards, chatted and laughed like we always do, it felt so good to see her and get a hug, I haven't even had time for her, not many chats on the phone even. I did happen to have Good Friday off and had the immediate family over for an early dinner. I must be a glutton for punishment but It was great to catch up with my son and his partner, my dad and his girlfriend.
Here is my desk and the snuggly Yoda who has abandoned me for the heater vent, yep we are getting into the colder weather and he loves to be a little fur furnace as you all know.
.JPG)
So on my desk is a round butterfly notelet, the small circles are punched but the larger ones which I didn't have a punch big enough have been cut with the scan n cut. All made with scrap paper which I love, especially using up the scraps. The hexagonal ones behind it that was made out of scratch paper only got six cards instead of the standard eight but hey I love those bright colours.

Myrenes boyfriend turned 18 on Sunday and she wanted a card for him and loves the tri-fold style so here it is. She had to ply me with coffee and talk to me the whole time because I wanted to sleep and she needed the card, this was also on Good Friday after all the family went home. He is madly into gaming and the xbox. The Rosette and balloons are cut using the scan n cut. Gosh this machine is turning out to be a really little beauty, only wish I had more time to play with it.
I am working the Logies this week and it is full on, I will try and snatch a few photos of the red carpet for you all to see next week. In the meantime I need to get this posted and visit all you lovelies out there especially
Julia from the
Stamping Ground who hosts this brilliant blog hop. I better get my butt into gear as I am working again in a few hours and hoping to visit some desks during the night. Please leave your link number it does help me find you and turn off your word verification and moderate instead. Regardless I will return your visit and thank you all for visiting. Happy WOYWW
Hugs to all

Love that pic of Yoda in front of the vent, here we are in early spring and I'm still using heating, I know how he feels! love the card for the boyfriend, and glad to hear that even on the run, your new machine is helping you out.....quick to set up and use then....makes it very attractive!
Love that complex looking card. And good to see you are getting plenty of use from the scan&Cut! Nothing worse than an expensive tool that sits gathering dust....
Happy WOYWW!

Oh Eliza you are working so hard and such long hours, you must get exhausted. Love how Myrene had to ply you with coffee to get you to make that superb card. Well worth the effort she put in - the card is a beauty.
As usual the picture that steals the show is the one of Yoda. He certainly is lapping up the heat that is coming though.
Take care, love to all - Neet 27 xx
Fabulous cards and to think of what you still managed to achieve in a busy week. Yoda is sooooo cute. Hope you get to have a break this weekend.

I knew you must be busy somewhere! As Julia said, it doesn't matter when you join in, we just enjoy it when you CAN make it!
I love that 18th card, so clever and just the right thing for a lad. The coffee obviously did its stuff :-)

Dear Eliza & Yoda, glad you are with us this week -- I think we all jump in when we can and miss it when we cannot. Yoda looks very relaxed and happy and it sounds like you've been very *busy* and happy. Happy WOYWW from ~ Laura #69 [http://bookworm.typepad.com/]
Well, I think I'm tired from just reading about what you've been up to. Love getting to visit your room and Yoda, of course. It is good to hear that even with being so busy you've gotten some time to play.
Lovely cards
Yoda looks toasty warm :)
Happy Wednesday

Nice to see you back again and your desk is just so tidy. I am glad you are so happy with the Scan and cut. I decided it was much too expensive for me and my Cameo would do all I needed anyway. I just need to clear enough space on my desk to use my things. I might have to convert the caravan into a second craft room. I must say the nightjars actually kept me awake, probably because I had spent so long looking for what was making the noise. Like Julia, my heating is still on, and the heater in the caravan was on 24 hours. The car temperature gauge was definitely telling lies. The sun was nice but the wind was wicked. Thanks for your visit and your lovely comments. xx Maggie #10
What a wonderful work area. Fab birthday card, I'm sure it will be well received.
Happy Wednesday,

That box is sensational, I should think he will love it. Anything in it or is it just a cards?
Yoda knows where he is well off, who loves hime when you are away? I'm sure he get cuddles from someone.
Bless you.

Wow! What an amazing view from your window and you have an amazing craft room. I am the same...usually to busy with work to get time to post on a Wednesday so I can relate but it's great to see an Aussie post on your blog..thanks for visiting. Vikki #22
The beautiful view outside your window belies the fact that colder weather is arriving. It still looks like summer from where I'm sitting (at my office desk, not yours).
Thanks for the sweet visit and hug Yoda from me and tell him hi from Bleubeard. They could be siblings when it comes to the heater (grin). WOYWW wishes from # 9.
Great card, and what a tricky Yoda.Just like a cat to find the warmest spot!
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog.

Hello Eliza and Yoda and thanks for stopping by my desk earlier. Your desk has a wonderful window for light and a view and it all looks very tidy...hope after the Logies you can get some you time. Cool male card too. Cheers and have a great week Robyn#18 and Arthur
No matter how many great craft rooms I come across, yours is always one that I particularly like. I never show a pic of my "proper" craft room, it is far too awful :)
Were getting a bit cooler here too, but not quite as cold as you :)
Have a good week and thanks for dropping by,
RosA # 36
