WOYWW 239

We are off on an adventure of a New Year and wow what a year it is going to be, as like many of you I seem to pack so much into my days and weeks it can be exhausting to say the least.  I am sure this year will be no different, I am bound to find new ways to create extra time, please don't ask me for the formula for this it is considered Top Secret LOL

This is my words of wisdom to everyone this year.

Rather than reacting to a complaint, disapproval, or rejection, try opening your heart
and accepting the moment for what it is.  If you can learn to open your heart in the
midst of the difficulties of daily life, you will soon find that many of the things that
have always bothered you will cease to be concerns.

Above all do not sweat the small stuff and create ART

Have a Happy 2014

Now onto the desk  room view after all this is the reason we all seem to gather with the thanks of Julia.  Sorry mine is a mess, I am still sorting it out from the big move and finding things need to be moved.  I worked all through Christmas with the test cricket ASHES go Aussies......  So time has been precious more than the norm for me and this is truly my first day home to get some stuff done.  De will probably have a heart attack to see this mess but hey she will still love me tomorrow when we go Ikea shopping with the camera.  She is midst of sorting her crafting space.  You will have to check in next week to see what antics we got up too.

I have some deliveries received of gifts for myself which I need to unpack.  A lovely collection of other gifts received from the lovely Sandy over at Lonely Cards, I really lovely lady I meet through the WOYWW desk, I got some awesome stencils and napkins, tape and Chrissy Deco's  Thanks a bunch Sandy.

Then you have my furry family I thought I would show them all this week, sorry to say they are all sleeping.  The weather here has been crazy, beautiful weather for a few days and today raining.  So the furry ones have decided to have a sleeping day and good for them.  Meet the rest of my furry family.  You all know Yoda of course.....

Yoda
Tommy
Ditto
(who I think poses as another cat across the pond)
Charlie
If you have no idea why I am showing you all this then pop on over to Julia's place called the Stamping Ground and she can explain it all.

Thanks for visiting, please leave a comment with your link number if you are part of the hop, so I can return your kind visit.

Hugs to all and Happy New Year everyone.
Eliza & Family

WOW! what an awesome space to create in! I love your fury family. We have had a cat adopt us recently. I can't find its owners and it is now sleeping on my sons bed every night and eating the dogs food, so we now call it ours...Marmalade and Cream (breakfast!) I nearly called it Skywalker after your Yoda as my son is Luke and my hubby sounds like Darth Vader cos of his permanent Trachea hole...long story for another time! Happy New Year!

Your space looks great. And the mess looks just about right. How can we be creative if we're not messy? Your furry friends look super cute, but I bet they don't approve of the time you spend crafting when you should be worshipping them.

Happy New Year

What a lovely lot of goodies! A treat to be sure. I've seen some fun things with napkins (they can be so arty and the texture is fab) and stencils seem to be my new obsession. Have a great time dipping into your box 'o'goodies.

Happy New Year WOYWW!

"Don't sweat the small stuff" .... I LOVE that! I'm going to adopt that as my mantra this year, Eliza. You're so right, most everyday niggles are just not worth losing sleep over.
Your Ditto really is a twin of my Ron! Unless.....there is a wormhole through time and space between the UK and Oz and it's the same muggy commuting......I wouldn't put it past him! Lol :-)
Thank you for your wonderful comments, support and fun the past year, may 2024 be full of love, laughter and crafty mayhem :-)
Hugs, LLJ 29 xxxx
Ps, thanks for the gorgeous card you sent me!! Xx

What a lovely space to create in. We don't blame the furry family for sleeping. It's awful weather over here. We might hibearnate.

Happy New Year Eliza! Love your craft space- I agree the moving of stuff does seem to create more mess for ages before it suddenly all comes together. Love the pics of your beautiful cats- I am so much a cat person! Hugs and fusses to them. Have a great Wednesday, Hugs, Shaz #32 xx

I thought your space looked amazing - tidy and well organised. But I was interested to see where Yoda was and I found him, but what a lovely surprise to find, Charlie, Ditto and Tommy as well. You are so blessed to have such lovely furry babes.
My best wishes to you and your family (humans as well) and I look forward to hearing what Myrene is doing at college etc.
Happy New Year, Hugs, Neet xx

Well, after looking at all those sleeping pets I have to ask myself what the heck I am doing awake?!?!? I enjoyed seeing the long angle view of your room/mess/space. I don't really see a mess myself I just see lots of potential for play! Happy New Year! Charles tried to turn it into a Happy Nude Year but hubby made him put his collar back on.

So glad you got my parcel.. Hope you like the stencils and my little Christmas trees. Try out those tape runner refills and let me know what you think I think they work quite well. I remember you looking at all those napkins and saw those French ones and thought of you.. Look at your space its wonderful and all the fur babies all asleep its been a bit of a cold snap the last few days hey. I had a lovely time in Warrnambool the weather was lovely.. Wonderful to see her all settled in.
See you soon
Sandy :)

I don't see mess..., good grief, I cannot! makes me laugh that you think De will have a heart attack. I think after you do major moving like you have done in your room, that you need quite a lot of time to embed again..if you make and mess, the clearing up part helps you determine whether you've got things in the right places for reaching, storing etc....it sounds entirely plausible, huh!!
Happy new year, friend.
