I have to say shopping at Ikea can be a blast especially when shopping with like minded souls. Yep we did all that could be done in Ikea, slept, ate, sewed, partied with the bears (Horace will be happy) and generally had fun. We could not be stopped, but he strange thing no one tried to throw us out, but we did spend money, I suppose that makes a difference. We did get stares from the people trying to shop, I really didn't understand what their problem was. Anyway a little photo heavy but you will get the idea of what we got up to.

Talking of Yoda, this is what he is like when I am working on the computer. Constantly trying to get me to hold him and give him a cuddle. You have to love a face like this, who could not, he is so beautiful and such a treasure.Oh and my baby girl turned 19 during the week this was the card I put together for her, she loved it.

Eliza it sounds like you girls had a blast shopping and I take my hat off to you for just getting stuck in and doing it. Life can be tough at times or serious so fun it is .love all the photos and nice to see Yoda again

Alas, we do not have an IKEA near where we live although I have visited them while traveling. I had NO IDEA one could have so much fun there. Seems as if you really did it right! Good on ya, as friend would say.

Sounds like you and DeDe had a blast at Ikea! My daughter and I went down the third week of December and spent a bucket of money also...got to keep the Swedes in business!!! We enjoy trying out and playing with stuff but some folks just don't have a sense of humor (ie the man in the mirror!!) Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a fun week! Vickie #104

What a trip, Eliza!! I'm late getting around WOYWW, but after seeing DeDe's post, I wanted to make a point of getting by your place. Sure enough, just look at you two kids!! You are just like me and my girlfriends. The more disapproving the looks from other people, the more outrageous the behavior becomes, right?!!
