Another desk hop bought to you by the lovely Ms Julia at The Stamping Ground, yep Julia hosts the desk hop around the world where you link up and visit to your heart is content, content on snooping, spying, commenting and learning, it is all there to be done. Want to find out more then pop on over and Julia will explain it all.
Today I have my desk, lots of bits n bobs, I did actually create something during the week well a collection of Postcards. To be truthful and this was a past time that I loved doing. I was inspired by the lovely Trisha on our weekly posts known by many as Trisha Too, over at Easily Amused Hard To Offend, thanks Trisha it really did get my creative brain working and yes I did have spurts of fun. I can't show the finished postcard yet as I want to post some off to some really lovely friends that are overdue for some happy mail. I just need to finish them off by putting on backing card. The inks that I use for inking edges are still on the desk (Versa Color) mini pads and a few bottle tops that I use for stamping, the Bega Tasty Cheese container is full of bottle-tops LOL they are great for stamping random circles with gesso. Even my bin is full and a few stamps are on the desk some background ones and a stamp a friend made me which is one of my favorites and my little glue bottle. So you can see my desk is really messy, with things that need to be put away but nothing serious.
Oh and another achievement this week, I managed to visit everyone on the list, yep I did it hooray, I have not done that in a long, long time and I didn't set out to do it either, I just knocked them over bit by bit.
Also I have apologies to many that came last week to visit with the little man Yoda, he was not camera co-operative as he is suffering from the cold but I made him have his photo this week in his bed in the office where we tend to play, he is as snug as a bug in a rug. He got this new bed a few weeks back when I ripped up the majority of the carpet in the office, the floorboards are a little cold for him. Now he has a few beds throughout the house to roam too, depending on where I am of course. He says HI to everyone and sorry he will try not disappoint again.
So if you visit please leave a comment we love them, also your link number if you are from the blog hop. Otherwise thank you so much for visiting us both. Have a happy creative week to all.
Hugs to all I am off to check out some desks

I thought there were two Eliza's to visit but it was only you twice. My happy mail has stopped, I am attempting to use up what I have before I indulge in more.

Hugs from the bears @#90 this week
Aw bless Yoda, I have to say that after 49 years of being a Brit, I'm not winter acclimatised yet, so I have a lot of sympathy...the idea of several snuggly points dotted around the house is quite irresistible! Lovely to see and read of your desk action - your collection of Vesacolours is beauty to my eye!
Good busy desk, Eliza. The rose in your garden is stunning.
Have a great week.

That really is a gorgeous photo of Yoda, and he looks so content and warm. Love to him.
I have just come inside after working on some DT stuff in the sunshine - yes, we are still having it but for how long is the question.
Glad you have had time to do some crafting and doing something that you enjoy too. Am sure the recipients will enjoy the postcards.
Love to all the fur babies and you all (two legged folks)
Hugs, Neet xx 45
HA! I would happily send you ALL the sun from round here. I hate the heat. Do't mind a slight warm the, if there is a nice cooling breeze, but hat hot still air. My only foray into postcards wa preparing some for DD t take off on a school trip and (surprise surprise) they came back with her, unwritten and unsent. DOH!

Hi Eliza,
Yoda is so dang cute! I can't wait to see the postcards once they are finished.
I'm not participating in WOYWW (again). I'm giong to get my act together --- soon!
Peace,
Kay
Post cards are fun! You know Trisha and I design for AA together and we both made post cards for this "Mail Art" issue. They are so fun to make!! I just keep pieces of paper on my desk so when I want to clean a paint brush or a stamp I just put it on the paper and play with it later!! Keep having fun! And I hope Yoda starts feeling better soon!!

Can't wait to see your postcards inspired by Trisha, and how adorable is Yoda, he looks like he is so very comfy and enjoying his new bed. It looks perfect for surviving the cold winter mornings in Melbourne. Happy WOYWW! Danie #72
Poor Yoda! Hope he feels better soon. :) So glad you are still finding my homemade stamp useful, it really tickles me! :)
And just so you know, cause I'm not afraid to confess to you...that is just one of my containers of stamps! lol :D
Suffice it to say I have a *few* more containers handily deposited around my crafting space! lol
Can't wait to see your postcards...I've been making diorama's today...so fun! And the first one I made I liked so much I decided to keep it for myself! Ha! :) But I'm really liking the second, too! What's a girl to do? I can't keep them all, can I? lol
Well, thanks for popping by and leaving me a sweet comment already. Heard you made it to all the desks already...are you trying to make the rest of us mere mortals feel bad or what?! lol :)
Hugs dear, Deeyll
Yoda is gorgeous and I like the idea of several snuggle points over the house. The view from your window is stunning.

That is one contented and happy kitty! Pretty camellia outside your window, seems odd (to me) to see it flowering in July! Nice tidy desk this week, sounds like you've been busy! Have a wonderful weekend.
