Today
my dad turned 80 years young and we went out for a little lunch at a local Vietnamese
restaurant , we had a lovely meal. Lots of fun, laughter and general hoo
haa all enjoyed in the company of his grandchildren and girlfriend and of
course my husband and myself. I know every little girl says nice things
about her dad but mine is the best in the world and my whole world too. I
know I am on the road working many strange hours but he is my rock, always
there when I need him, like most dads I suppose, but really apart from my
husband and children he is all I have in the way of family, so you could only
imagine how special he is to me and I am blessed every day to have him with us.
I made him this card, I just love the stamp I have used
because time and time again I have caught him in his boxers and singlet
especially in summer in the heat, just
chilling out and those boots, I swear to
God that he wears his still to this day and he has the turn down guards for
when he is in the garden, so the dirt don't get in his socks.
I think the stamp is a creative impressions
stamp but I could be wrong. The paper used is an old one by The Paper
Loft called Crazy Squares and Avocado Dashed Lines. The bunting is a die
cut unsure as to whom that one is by and the stamped image is colored using Tria
Markers.
