Happy Birthday Michael

Can you believe it my son has turned 27, gosh the years have flown by, honestly I don't know where they have gone.  Michael has turned out to be one handsome man, but I am bias, I know.

Made him a special card for the day but didn't get to see him yesterday the 3rd on his special day as he was working and then playing indoor football.  So we went out to our favorite Indian restaurant for dinner on the 4th and had a banquet, amazing food, lots of wine and a lovely night all round.  I am so proud of my big boy.  To sit down, relax and enjoy each others company was truly wonderful.

Here is his card, made using some really old Basic Grey Papers that I have always loved, called the Acid Wash Dawson Collection, it comes with all sorts of tags, lettering and bits n bobs all round a great set.  Mike thought his card was extra special because it had his name on it. LOL

Hi Eliza! I love the card for your son. I agree time goes by fast. My two boys are growing fast too. I wish I could slow it down just a little sometimes.

I also love the caddie you have on your desk that has the pencils in it. Does it also have drawers in the front? I just love storage. Not that I need any more stuff.

Thanks for the visit last week. Have a blessed day!

Hi Eliza,

When I turned 50 I asked my dad what it felt to have a 50 year old child! tee hee. It sounds like you had a wonderful dinner to celebrate your son's 27th.

I know what you mean about the butterflies. It's not something I would do but thought it was so beautiful I wanted to share. As a matter of fact, my backyard is a certified wildlife habitat registered with the United States! Even though it's very small I met all the criteria.

Hugs,
Kay
