WOYWW 210

Another week flown on by and I have managed to get some creating done (see former posts) yes only cards,  oh and the extra card posted on here but the one I am still working on, on the desk.  A good step in the creative journey and some form of paper arts.

Managed to do some retail shopping done with a collection of must have supplies.  You see there are the supplies that you purchase that a must haves and then there are the supplies you purchase because you need them.  Certainly some good supplies regardless and well must have.

My mojo wasn't really doing me any good so I decided to do some office work and clean up and fiddle with stuff.  Then my plastic pockets that I keep my spellbinders in, in the folder started to tear, so I set forth with a plan to put all of my large dies and spellbinders etc onto their own chipboard sheets mounted with Magnetic sheets and create my own file system.  Well what a beauty this one was, we have all seen and some probably have purchased the ARTBIN magnetic sheets and storage cases well this  in my version at only a fraction of the cost.

The folders I have used are the hard plastic file boxes easily obtainable from office supply stores
or even Kmart or BigW.  So all my dies got sorted,
huge job and I am much happier with this set up.  The storage files are extra strong and can easily take the weight of the metal and magnets. So WIN WIN

Then there is the little man, sleeping again, wouldn't pose for a photo.  You can see his bald patched on his legs and belly, don't worry that is the breed.

So for me this week it has been a long post with loads of photos but I have been busy, busy and I still have a few more days off work to go.  Yippeeeeee

Want to see more desks then pop on over to Julia at the Stamping Ground and have fun.  Thanks Julia for linking like minded people to have fun every week.

Hugs Eliza & Yoda.

What a wonderful desk this morning, Eliza. Full of expectation!! Great idea for storing your dies, too.
You left a message of real encouragement on Mrs D's desk last week. Thank you for praying for her and DH as he went through major surgery. I have put an update on my blog today for everyone. Chris has known incredible support during this. Thank you.

I am so glad you got it.. I was wondering but did not want to ask as I wanted it to be a surprise.. Neet got hers in England in 3 days and it took 8 days for you to get your one and it just had to go down the highway, so funny.. I used the inks you gave me on the journal page and the one we brought the day when we went to the expo.. I finally got courage and watched a few Dyan from Dylusions youtube videos and gave them a go. Was very quick and lots of fun..

That's a good collection of Nesties you have. We love your globe stamp but mostly we love the pic of Yoda indulging in our favourite hobby of sleeping.

I think Yoda is looking very relaxed stretched out on his leporad throw. Maybe he is dreaming that is out wild game hunting, only his food appears in a dish instead! lol Thanks for visiting my WOYWW desk, well storage area, lol Waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥

Well at least your mojo did you some good, finding you all those "must have" and "need" supplies! I've just linked up as I'm not spending much time at the computer these days...to make a long story short I got my back adjusted by a chiropractor and to say it was out of wack is putting it mildly! And you know what? Immediately afterwards my gallbladder and liver stopped hurting! Thank God for creating us so magnificently! Everything is tied together so marvelously, you just have to know these bodies did not come about by accident. Anyways, it probably wasn't so much the stress of my finals as all the time I spent at the computer, so now I have to get a new computer chair and until then I'm just spending less time at it and stretching frequently when at it...hmmm, I have a point...oh! I need to send you an email and catch up but it might take me a bit, okay? Well, fab desk this week with the manly card and new stash, hope your creating mojo comes home to roost soon! I have been looking for that globe set for a while and lusting after the gears but local stamping stores haven't been carrying them! Rats! Great storage idea for your Spellbinders. I bought some of the magnetic sheets and holders from Crafters Companion a while back to store mine in and love the ease of access and transport to scrapbooking events etc. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great week! Great job Eliza - it's amazing how just dickering about can lead to such worthy work. I store my dies much the same way, but in a magazine box file thingy at my erm, cutting station! Works really well actually, hope you find the same.

Hi Eliza, wonderful array of craft goodies there, they should help get the old mojo up and at em. Love the timepiece card on your desk. Great way to store all your dies too. Ahh Yoda bless him, not peeking out from under the blanket this week, he looks very content. Enjoy the rest of your time off doing 'whatever'!
Happy art making
