I am not American, but I had to wish it to you all anyway, maybe one day I will be in
America to celebrate this wonderful time of year.
Not much on my desk, I have just finished working horrendous hours. Sleep I really haven't had much but it is on the agenda for Thursday and Friday that is for sure. My babies are away on holidays, my big boy Michael who turned 26 yesterday is in Sumatra soaking up some warm weather, my Big Girl Myrene 17 is at Philip Island on a camp getting cold but having fun running around.
I had a really crappy day on Friday and had to drive back to Melbourne unplanned, stopped in home to grab a few things and this parcel had arrived. Originally it was meant to take a few days then someone told me 3 weeks, so it was up to the postal system. Unexpectedly it arrived and it was sheer luck someone was home. Thank you so much Danielle, I won it on Danielle’s blog she had this giveaway happening. Lucky me was the winner, you really should stop on over if you haven’t already and see what she is up to, awesome blog and such a lovely lady. Here is her link http://daniellahayes.blogspot.com/ Maybe I will get to play with the contents on Thursday or Friday if I am not in a coma. LOL
I have not progressed anywhere with my tins for the above reason, but will get there whenever. I am not stressed it will happen when it happens. I have found some ribbons to put around the tins and they are pinned in place at the moment as my glue gun (sh.. t) its self, its on the other table to the side. I will get a new one in the next few days. I don’t know if I will add some legs to the other tin or just leave it the way it is. I do like the gold legs, but if all the tins were at the same height I will have to reach over them all the time. Multiple layers/levels sounds good, the jury is still out on that one. My owl coffee holder is in use as I have just got home from work and still sipping on the coffee. Thanks a million Sandy, it has been really used this past week and my saviour. My dear Hooter is having the time of his life hiding and playing in the tins, he seems a little happier, this is good, he has a purpose in life now. Oh and my WOYWW badge is on my desk too, can you see it?
Why am I telling you this and showing photos of my desk? Loads of people all around the world have this virus called WOYWW that makes them visit and snoop at others spaces, via the World Wide Web of course. LOL It is really amazing what these people get up to and create, scrap, sew, crochet, alter well the list goes on, Mrs Dunnit is the guilty party for starting this compulsion, go on and check it out. I love it and so many others do too. I actually look forward to Wednesdays and see it as something really special. Thanks Mrs Dunnit for making many people around the world happy and linked in blog land.
I hope you all have a happy crafting week, filled with love. Please leave a comment I do love them and will eventually reply if you do.
Eliza

That’s quite a craft space you have there Eliza, just look at all those ribbons and a tidy desk too!
I think I like the tin with feet, it just gives it that added something and I love the way Hooter is hiding in there.

OOh Eliza, your working hours are horrible, I can't go without sleep - and could never get used to it! Love the use of the little knobs as tin feet!

Hi Eliza! Thanks for coming to visit my blog today. Congrats on your win & happy WOYWW! Sarah (78)
Guess I should take the tins I use for pens, pencils, scissors, etc. and cover them with a little bling one of these days. Never thought of giving them Legs, what a great idea. #125
How lovely to win all that stuff from Danielle - I really hope you manage to get some time to have a play!
And those tins are fab - in fact they're tinny versions of my bling bins!! You'll have to make some more!
Hugs, Jan xx
Sounds like you have really been working some long and tiring hours. That sleep sounds the perfect remedy and then some crafting!!
How exciting to receive such a lovely parcel of goodies. Have fun with them all.

Well done on the winnings. I hope you get to play soon. It really is pants when work gets in the way of play whether it be at work or at home. Housework is not high on my agenda as most friends could testify!
Have fun with the tins.

Oooh lovely organised stuff there and I love your tins on the next post - thanks for commenting on my blog - it was my OHs idea for them all to stand by the truck so that when its shown on tv (as it no doubt will be during the olympics) the children can say "we have seen that!" - bless em! Have a fab week.
Thanks for thinking of us Americans! :) And what a sweet sentiment you left for dear Julia! I have to agree its highly addictive and I'm so terribly glad she got this party started, though I am pretty late to it! lol
That last shot must be with your window at your back, huh? So we get to see the rest of your crafting space...its very well organized lady! I can't even show one whole corner of my craft room! Its like the Bermuda Triangle over there...lol.
Well, hope you are sleeping right now, getting caught up there...and I'm really glad you won the give-away on Daniella's blog! :) Can't wait to see what you do with the stuff..."see" you later,
Deeyll :)
Hi Eliza, your desk looks fairly clear and I thought you weren't doing much but then I saw those tins and you've finished them - they are fabulous and a terrific recycling job too. Hope you are enjoying the weekend. Elizabeth #85
