WOYWW 160

Another week flying on by before we know it, it will be Christmas and everyone will be in a mad panic.  Me I am really busy this week, on the road again with the Job.  Off to Geelong for a very long weekend, starting tonight and finishing Sunday night, working crazy hours, but hey someone has to do it.

As you can see the weather here is really foggy and frosty cold, so not much to see out the window.

On my desk this week are some cans I have started to cover, I have used some of these cans on my desk for ages and have finally decided to cover and decorate them in a way that is pleasing to the eye.  The paper is Cavallini Papers that were made in Italy and were purchased awhile ago from Zetta Florence here in Melbourne.  They are perfect for the job I want, just dont know when they will get finished. LOL.  Ahh the beauty of work in progress, at least I will enjoy the time and not be rushing to a schedule, it will happen when it happens.  There are some markers that have been taken out of one of the tins, money, coz I am good at leaving it on my desk and not putting it away, an emery board for the finger nails, not art, Mr Hooter checking things out and some more promarkers that I got in this last week.

Why am I telling you this, well it is WOYWW blog hop time again, yep it is Wednesday where a growing few hundred around the globe show their desks in many different states, yes really messy, total neat freaks and the outright who cares state of array.  I have to say I love the messy spaces, I used to be like that, really, really messy...... LOL  Want to know or see more then jump on over to the wonderful Julia's blog called the Stamping Ground and see what I am on about, warning it is addictive, but i wouldn’t give it up for the world.

To everyone that visited me thank you I really love you popping in, it makes me feel good.  I try and get around as many people as possible but this week it might be hard, so in advance, thank you.  Hopefully I will have some down time in the middle of the night.  But certainly if you visit me i will return the favour as my email is linked to my phone and i will know you have visited.

Until next time, have a happy, safe, crafting week.

Eliza

Hi Eliza - don't work too hard. I can believe you have fog and frost in Australia! I thought you were always sunny in the land of Oz :-) I spotted a drink called Elizabeth ! What does that taste like? and a twig hanging thingy which is a very cool way to display little pieces of Art. WOYWW Hugs from Helen 89

Hope to see the cans when they are finished. Messy or neat, desks are fun places to visit. Here in Florida we finally have a day where Tropical Storm Debbie is gone for awhile. First we had had no rain and now so many are flooded out of their homes or roads are flooded, etc. But, we finally have green instead of green grass. Need to check & see if storm is going to do a U-turn as predicted yesterday. Enjoy your week and don't work too hard. #118

Great post and idea, Eliza. I'm sorry that sometimes I'm guilty of not leaving a comment on your post, but it's only when the white words against the black background of your blog really make my eyes go wobbly and I fear a migraine. Some times it's not so bad, sometimes I just can't do it. Just wanted you to know that's the reason, for me, and it's not that I don't enjoy your blog!! Have a great week! Haven't thought of using cans for stuff...wanting something new to keep my promarkers in. Cans might work, was going to use bisto gravy cartons, but they are a bit small...Last time I used cans for anything it was a Mr Men birthday cake...I think they were the legs! (I mean I cooked the cake in the cans to make the legs!!) Have a great crafting week! HaPPy WoYwW!!

Burger and tots, I thought I left a comment earlier this week! I can't believe I didn't log in earlier to tell you, wait for it, what lovely cans you have! lol Now I mean that to be a nicely naughty (I would never be mean to you!) comment. teeheeheehe :) Cans. I feel like Beavis or Butthead today. This would probably make more sense if you were American...they used to crack me up so much! Anyways, really wish we were having some of your frosty cool weather here...its topping out here at over 110f! And what's up with your desk this week...something seems different. Different angle? Oh! I know! Its clean! heehee! How often does that happen?! You aren't planning to make a habit out of this, now are you? :) I hope you are getting some sleep and enjoying the "road"...can't wait to your cans covered...cans. Have you ever seen Beavis and Butthead? Its pretty immature but sometimes that kind of mindless ignorant behavior is just the kind of humor you need. Well that could just be me! :) Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me such a sweet and encouraging comment. I really appreciate it! ;)

It's so weird to think you are in the middle of winter with frost and cold and we are having Summer, well a sort of one anyway. I always thought Australia was quite warm all year round!!
The paper you are covering those tins with sounds gorgeous. Can't wait to see them finished.
Happy WOYWW and thanks for the visit,

Hi, I love the idea of covering the cans. I used to do it with wallpaper scraps before I crafted. Your flowers are delightful, as always. I pop by but don't always comment which is bad of me. Try to look quickly without aggravating DVT. Enjoy your crafting. Karen x

Great workspace! I've made some of my favorite pieces by letting them linger til the right piece comes along or right technique comes to mind :D. And I'm with you thinking that Christmas is really right around the corner lol. Handmade Christmases take me about a year :D. Thanks for visiting!

Is it really Wednesday by you? It is Tuesday afternoon 3:44pm here. It is so cool that I communicate with you and you are so ahead of me!!
Your desk looks clean to me! I must be a real pig because if my area was that neat it would take me exactly 1 minute to mess it up!!!
Hope you take care during this busy work week!!
Happy WOYWW!!
