I was in total shock as I crafted with Eliza in Melbourne when I lived not far from her. I have dedicated my WOYWW post to her on Wednesday 15th July. De De I'm so shocked at learning of this news...I had known Eliza for many years on line and finally thru phone chats and then met in person a few years back...I had four fun days staying with her and adventures in the glorious arty room of hers.... we still caught up on the phone occasionally but the last year my life got insane and we hadn't communicated much. Even so I often thought of her and had a look in on her blog....you had become a great friend to her De De which is awesome. Her loss will affect me for some time. Condolences to hubby Myrene and Michael xxx
So very sad. I loved Eliza's blog from when we found one another, always such fun along with her tales of Yoda right from being rescued and this was just such a shock. Sending love and hugs to you (her very, very Bestie - I lost mine at 52 and miss her to this day - although I now realise she would bat me over the head and say to get on with life), and of course Yoda and Eliza's family. I'll follow you for sure Di, just as soon as I work out how to do it!
Be brave, be strong and even kick a few walls at the unfairness if you must - and also wear that purple hat for Eliza with pride. You were so lucky to have her as such a good friend - and it goes for the other way round too. She adored you De De!
I am so sorry to hear this terribly sad news.. I will miss her. I always loved catching up for coffee and shopping with her when she was down this way.. Gone far too soon.
So sorry to hear this news, Eliza always came across as such a vibrant full of life person, the world will be duller without her. Extra cuddles to Yoda, and hugs to you too De De. xx
RIP Eliza, You will be greatly missed. Eliza was one of the group who supported my blog when I first joined woyww and I am very grateful to her. She will be missed by us all. But she will not be forgotten and it's great that De De is able to continue her blog. Hope we get chance to see some more of Yoda sometime too. Sending my deepest sympathies to her family. I was so surprised to hear of Eliza's passing. I, too, admired her projects and enjoyed her comments when she visited my blog. My prayers are with her family and friends.

My sincere condolences to Eliza's beloved family and friends. All the way to the Philippines, the news of her sudden passing brought sadness because although we never met, she would sometimes drop by me and I would sometimes drop by her.
