WOYWW 304

Where do the days go, holy blue blazers another week gone.  I know I have been busy but seriously the earth must be turning faster.  Thank heaven's the World Cup Cricket is over, I am so over cricket and I actually like it, yes I know some of you are saying "what the she likes cricket" I am so thankful for the AFL Footy season starting and a change in direction for broadcasting for awhile.

I did get to play on my desk yesterday and the day before in getting some more UFO's finished. I had one of those days where it didn't matter what I tried to cut or stick down it was crooked, hence the torn card on the far right of the desk shot. A new stamp that I got ages ago by crafty Individuals, that had to have it's foam sticking to it, why can't these people put mounting foam on them, we pay enough as it is. Some bases for cards that were done the other week that still need completing, yep it is a slow drawn out process when you are not home to get these things completed.  Oh and the eggs still sitting there, do you think I will have them done by Easter, maybe Easter next year LOL. Went shopping with my bestie on Saturday and had a totally fantastic day, just laughing and having generalized girly fun.  It really is healthy for the soul to catch up with friends.  Catching up with her tomorrow to have a play, goodness knows what mischief we are going to get up too.  So the desk is a mess which needs sorting by tonight for Bestie.  So we can play on tomorrow, hey I wouldn't clean the desk for anyone else but her.

Here is a completed card that was a UFO (unfinished object) from ages ago.

There are some more UFO's in the bags ready to be filed away.

For some of you who love this view I have done this shot for you.  Now if you don't know what I am talking about then head on over to Julia's place she is the desk mistress of the world so she can explain all, it's called the Stamping Ground.

Ok Ok I have saved the best for last like always

Isn't he handsome..............

I love him so much as you all do............

I know it's what you really have come to see Yoda, happy enjoying the view out the window. He is a rather dirty little man he hasn't had a bath in weeks, I know you will still love him regardless.

Now if you don't know what I am talking about then head on over to Julia's place she is the desk mistress of the world so she can explain all, it's called the Stamping Ground.

Happy WOYWW everyone and have a great crafting week.

Hugs Eliza & Yoda

Oh wow, look at those machines! Scan n cut! Isn´t that terrible expensive? I think at least here it is. Does it work the way you want it too? It sounded interesting to me.
Of course Yoda is the most handsome little guy I could think of! He is so lucky to be at your place!!!

I totally get it,I don't clear my desk for many either! I'm with you on the non-foamed stamps too, it drives me nuts and makes me think twice about buying them now. Hope you have another fun day with that Dee Bestie, I wonder which of you is the worst influence over the other>!

I love cricket too but it's different when you've been working on it for weeks..... Glad it was a successful run for you all though and Australia deserved to win!
I like that four paned window card, isn't that effective? I wonder why dividing the image up into quarters enhances it so much?
So goad to hear that you and Dee had some fun times together...I dread to think how the town would react if Julia and I were there too....they'd Ben running for the hills, lol!!

Ooh, what smashing things on your today. Love the pin and purple cards,I have that stamp/those stamps and use it quite a bit and I like your browns mosaic by the coffee cup.
I hate it when things go all crooked, that's why I use Pinflair foto glue for matting and layering. Gives you plenty of wriggle room before it is stuck tight in one place.
Hugs for Yoda, handsome man that he is.

Ooh, I love the pink flower card, it's so pretty, and I also love the four paned window card - very striking. I totally agree with you on the unmounted stamps - I hate having to put my own foam on, I'm not very neat at it, and as you rightly say we pay enough for them! Yoda is looking beautiful and regal as usual. Thank you so much for your visit, I hope you have a great week,

Awww... love to Yoda, as always. I just hate the days when all crafty things go awry. You persevered and came out the other end with some lovely makes and got that old UFO made into a great card (so nice and glittery). It's all looking good! Judy #60

I am loving the UFO card.

I usually deliberately put things at an angle, as I am terrible at getting things straight:)

Yoda is adorable.

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.

Well, Yoda is certainly a gorgeous little person, but I like to see your desk too.
I love that "view from the window" style card, with just the orange and green - very stylish.
What a clever idea, to keep UFO cards in clear bags, so you can see what you have ready, when you have time to do some projects.
And, like you (and Julia), I find stamps that are not mounted very annoying. I have rejected some in the past, because they had no foam or sticky to mount them. As you said, they cost enough - the makers could take the trouble to make them useable!
Happy Wednesday!

Love all the photos today, and the cards are great!! I thought it was just me that hates buying stamps without foam, it's such a pain mounting them, and it isn't the same not doing it. Thanks for stopping by. Helen 3

What a lovely floral card! The colors are so beautiful. I spy a book on gelli plates. The objects in front of it look like curtain pole holders. Did you take the curtain down when you cleaned the desk?
Yoda looks in fine fettle. It's not visible that he hasn't had a bath for ages. Cats never do anyways.
Have a lovely day with your Bestie, lots of giggles and fun.
I'd completely forgotten about 1 April!
Thanks for visiting earlier.
Have a great week and Happy Easter!

Oh look at your gelli printing books! I love that view of your desk. I have those days where everything I stick down goes crooked. But it certainly didn't happen to your beautiful window of flowers - it's gorgeous. Thanks for your sweet visit. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #42

Such a lovely workspace and view! Lovely projects as well. Your cat looks so comfortable!

Yoda let's you bath him! My Bonnie would scratch and scream if I so much as showed her a tub of water!!! In fact, she only just allows me to brush her coat these days ... if I go near her arthritic hips she is off like a shot :( The finished card is beautiful - like the colours you've chosen - and, of course, you have a lovely view from your window :) Have a wonderful Easter weekend. PS: I've completed the page so plan to post it just as soon as I've taken a photo :)
