I missed last week it really wasn't a good week travelling around Victoria with the NAB AFL Football season, mind you this is not the only week I have been doing this for the last month. The AFL Season gets off to an official start tonight on FOX which is another broadcast that I am involved with, got the guys down at the waterfront doing that job now, thank heavens it's not me. I am not in the mood for boats and sunshine and water when I am working. Of course I still have the World Cup Cricket which has been interesting to say the least, so with all of this happening I have not had much time to play in the office. My get away was so relaxing I am going to have to do that more often, it is a late new years resolution or a dam early one. LOL.

So onto my desk filled with goodness knows everything, I am trying to sort out my UFO boxes, a dear friend told me to stop filling them and finish them, then there is the re-organizing of space a few things are getting changed around. I have a bag of eggs on the desk that I thought about covering not for want of a better word, hey it might get done in time for Easter. Anyway the desk is a full on mess, sorry to the OCD's of the world I will try and get my act into gear and get it sorted for next week.

Yoda has been bathing in the sun today in his bedroom bed in the window, he thinks he is tucked away nicely when in his bed behind the curtains.
Yoda is such a handsome little man and I know he steals my thunder every week how can you not love him and I don't mind sharing.
Want to see more desks then pop on over to
Julia's at the
Stamping Ground for the best blog hop going in the world.
Hugs Eliza & Yoda

Ugh. UFOs. I have so many I should hang my head in shame, but I don't - I just keep starting new stuff. :) Sounds like you HAVE been busy. Just clear the decks for the 6th anniversary and we'll say no more about it..... :)
Happy WOYWW day!
Mary Anne (2)
I'm goad you've made that resolution...you work damn hard and a week's respite is probably the best thing you can do. Just remember to invite me next time....;-)
Well done for finishing the UFOs...they'd just sit on your desk and glare at you if you didn't!
And my cats sleep tucked away behind the curtains too, lol :-)
Hugs, LLJ 24 xx
You've been flat out! More important things than tidying. Is that a little packet of dolls on your table.Like that punch with edging(?) .
Oh Yoda and the sun. Poor darling...did you wake him?
Hope you had a nice rest.A short hol does wonders.

I do love the view from your window, your garden is lovely and it must be so relaxing to work and look out on it. Well done for getting stuck into the UFO's! Hope you and Yoda have a great week,

Hello Yoda and Eliza...happy WOYWW. Now that is one lovely garden view from your window and a little peek over Yodas shoulder. And your work load is sure about to explode...hubby is so looking forward to the footy. So do hope you can find some you time at your lovely desk. Cheers RobynO#27
You do seem to be having a very busy time at the moment, but it is good that you made time for a break. I think Yoda has the right idea, soaking up the sun in comfort. Have a good week. xx Maggie #14
Morning, I read UFO boxes and thought 'what kind of boxes are those? Are they some kind of present for someone who is a sort of space geek?' Then I read Mary Anne's comment and realised you meant Unfinished symphonies, we all have those.
Just browse through the contents of the box and I'm sure inspiration will come, don't put pressure on yourself to finish something, you won't be happy with the result unless the mojo guides you.
And Yes you are absolutely right about Yoda, he is scrumptious, I just want to gather him up and cuddle him, but no doubt he is a good and faithful pussy cat and save his affection for you.
Have a good day

Love your view. It definitely is distracting but beautiful! Yoda is so handsome as he suns. I'm getting better at finishing projects. I don't think I have but 2 waiting to be completed. Happy WOYWW!

Hi Eliza, where would we all be without our UFO box? Snowed under, probably. Glad you enjoyed your break, we are really looking forward to one, but can't see it happening for a few months yet.Dearly want to get abroad for some sun, but with treatments/surgery, and because the illness/treatment and surgery all increase the risk of DVT, not allowed to fly anywhere. Hugs and cuddles to Yoda, who looks very content where he's sleeping, Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #7 xxx
UFO's are supposed to be a good thing :) oooh and that is a good resolution for all times ~Stacy #63
Yoda is so precious in his bed!! So, I love how you have a dedicated place for all your UFO's. Mine tend to be hidden here and there, which is not good! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #46
UFOs, new term for me. I bet I have a few of those around.
Happy WOYWW
Thx for sharing

I think we all have plenty of UFO's - or in my case the makings of UFO's - they're not even started here! Hope your professional life takes a slowdown soon, although I somehow don't think it's going to - glad you got away for a bit anyway. Helen 3
I'm glad your holiday was a success and you've decided to do it more often. You certainly seem to work very hard.
And now also trying to work on some UFOs, well I say!
Thanks for sharing those great photos of Yoda. He is handsome lying in his bed in the sun....
Have a great week,

Your desk looks interesting but Yoda is so lovely he always distracts me, I love him.
Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x 42
UFOs meh! I think we all have them..I have recently finished 1/2 a box of UFOs and felt pretty damn proud until I looked at the box today when I saw your post and saw it was full again?! HOW?! LOVE Mr Yoda, he makes my bad day so happy. You've been very busy and sadly I know how that feels. Enjoy some RR time at your desk. Cx #65
UFO's.... I sent all mine to the OP shop. I wish I had been there to see someone's face as they tried to work out what to do with half knitted bunny pieces in a bag. Yoda is the most gorgeous/handsome little cutie pie I have ever seen.

A bed behind a curtain--that certainly is some fancy living! Of course, Yoda deserves the best!
Good job finishing some UFOs instead of just sorting them around. That's a great goal and I hope I can do the same myself. I think I'll pass on the traveling and relaxing though. You can have the honors of doing that. Judy #66
A bag of eggs on one side, and a darling Christmas stocking on the other. I think this sums it up. Say to heck with it all and plan another retreat! We don't get much becuase we arent SKY customers, but have loved the cricket this year..the final will be fab..fast and interesting for a change!
thanks for the sharing of Yoda, he is so darned cute!
Sounds as if you have been mega busy Eliza - and ufo's - well I have two suitcases which I am hoping to finish off in a short while - just need to take the to the club and see if someone can help me know what to do next as I have so forgotten.
Keep smiling - love to the family
Hugs, Neet xxxxx
You have certainly been busy, Eliza - I don't know how you do it - must be very young.... oh, those were the days!
Yes, John certainly knows how to treat a girl when at a craft show! LOTS of fantastic things were bought - and only a couple of them were things I knew I wanted/needed/really would love to own. The stall fees are extortionate here, too. Our younger daughter and hubby thought of taking a stall at a two day show down South - they wanted around £700 for the tiniest space. It would have meant she needed to sell 2000 jars of jams and chutneys before making anything. Needless to say - they didn't take the stall!!
UFOs - well, John reckons that if Schubert could leave a symphony unfinished.....
Take care. God bless.
