Now onto some really important stuff the desk will have to wait a few minutes. 1st I am late posting, life is manic ATM and 2nd I have an apology to make to everyone whom visited me last week I did manage to reply to very few but not all of you I am so sorry I will get back to you I promise as I have said before life is manic. So my desk this week is somewhat crazy and messy, in the few minutes I have had here and there
nothing has really happened. I have the stamps on my desk from Darkroom Door that still need cutting and some new supplies purchased, I got a box of Gelato's and a new watercolour pad, it's a shame that I really don't have time to play with them. Oh an DD's butterfly is still on the desk waiting to be repaired. A big roll of ducting tape that I managed to obtain of son from the back of his Ute, it could be used in the art room at some stage, certainly an opportunity not to be missed in acquiring. Dad's camera needs repairing or throwing out haven't had time to sort it yet, he is electrically challenged and I thought it would be an easy camera for him to use, that was clearly a wrong option. AFL football is in the pre-season and I am all over Victoria with it and there is the cricket happening too, there is so much travelling it is crazy.

Here is the man you have come to see keeping my chair warm for me, you've gotta love the man. He looks quite handsome, he had a bath, ear clean and general tidy up all ready for Julia's birthday party I tried to put a party hat on him but this turned into the biggest challenge of my life, seriously he wouldn't sit still then I had the sun beaming in the window, hence the lighting issues, hey I tried Julia.
Some have asked what kind of cat he is, he is a Devon Rex pedigree, former show cat, he came to my care about 4 years ago after being left in the boot of a car in the middle of winter, he was so sick and not far off ending his life, I drove 750 ks in one night to get him and have cared and gotten him back to the best health. It was meant to be temporary care for him but after all his health issues and care taken to get him better I will never give him back. I must get this posted and visit a few people while I can.

Hi Eliza happy 300th WOYWW. Just spent hours visiting desk and thought mmm haven't seen your post yet, then when I refreshed there you were. Crazy season for you and me, although I'm not capering off all over the place, just got to put up with AFL for another 6 months...St Kilda's the hubby's team, so I guess I'll get more time at my desk. Love the purple happening on your desk...cheers RobynO#14
so glad you got here before the party ended!! it wouldn't be the same without you... I'm starting at the end now and working back, maybe I can meet my efforts yesterday coming from the other direction... your desk looks great, love the pinky purple! Yoda certainly looks a picture of health now. Helen 5
I watch the cricket in a new light now E - every time I tell my husband how hard you are working on it...it's like he knows you now! Thankyou for the birthday party, and for the effort with Yoda...I din't even think that far myself, so it's really appreciated! I realise the miles and the work are frantic...but good to see that when you can steal five minutes...yout desk is ready. I recommend you don't put any boxes or sharp objects in the immediate work area...that way you can just put your head down!
Glad to see you pop in to the list :) I don;t think I ever read the story of Yoda before. You really did save him, didn't you? Lovely in a different way to the usual desk shots, but no less inspirational.
Hope you had a Happy WOYWW day!

Wow, I love the seed head rubber stamps - they are beautiful, especially in that gorgeous pink/mauve colour. Lovely to hear the story of Yoda - what a strong bond you two must have - he certainly looks the picture of health now, what a lucky little cat!
Happy 300th, have a great week,

It's never four years since you rescued Yoda?? Good grief, I'd have said two or three! Time flies.....so good to see how brilliant he is, you did such an amazing thing getting him back to full health. Well done!!
You must be flat out what with the footsie and cricket..I just hope that what little free time you do have is devoted to getting some rest! You take care.....
Hugs, LLJ 7 xx
Not sure what AFL or cricket are...some kind of sports I take it. If you're a fan less crafty time if not more crafty time. :) Love the stamp you're using. In fact, I think I have that one. Gelatos...cool...haven't used mine yet either. Oh the Lil Man looks so comfy in His chair! Party hat, pa-leez, those are for children. Happy WOYWW! Nan G #75
Hi Eliza, big hugs to Yoda. What a lucky cat he was, having you as his rescuer. You've turned him into a worldwide star, lol. Love the seed head stamp, they always make such useful cards, being so adaptable. Gorgeous colours used too.Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #37 xx
I am so impressed he did sit still with the hat on long enough for you to snap a shot real quick. the cards under construction have such pretty colors going on too! :) ~Stacy #65
Yoda is a doll--he's a party animal for sure. I got tired just reading about your running about. Things are looking a little hectic on the desk but it is all there waiting for you to come play.
Oh, I'm terrible at the number leaving thing. Do stop by. Several kitties showed up for the party today. Judy #74
Hi Eliza and of course Yoda. Sorry for the stress, I hope things are going to calm down a little. Thanks for sharing your lovely project and the photos of the "Star" Yoda.
Hugs

Hi to you both, love the stamps you're using. Pleased to hear you wouldn't part with Yoda but then I don't think he would want to leave. Happy woyww, Angela x
No need to apologize for being late, Eliza! I missed the big 300 entirely, and neglected my blog all week, but I just had to pop over to see Yoda! Looks so cute in his party hat! You gonna have so much fun with those Gelatos, just don't eat them!
Hi Eliza and Yoda glad you made it to the party. Yoda you do look well turned out. I am late saying hello to you. You had not arrived when i last checked and on Thursday I went off to visit my son and family who live in Yorkshire. Came home this afternoon so I'm catching up with the last few party goers. Poor Yoda I'd no idea that you had rescued him - poor darling. Glad he's got you. Anne x #38
Hi Eliza,
I'm a "foster parent" flunkee too! That's how I ended up with Katie dog. What a kind soul you are to have gotten Yoda back to good health! Can't say he looks happy with the party hat on.
I know what it's like that life gets in the way of our creative (and blogging) time. That's why I'm visiting and it's already Sunday!
Happy very belated WOYWW
Hugs,

Your attempt to make him adorn a party hat just makes me laugh as I can picture you trying to do it and get a photo. Way too funny! It seems we all love the seed head stamp, what's not to love? so hope you have more time for yourself and for creating. Thank you for stopping by!
