T for Tuesday

Spent a lovely day in the mountains at Sassafras with my family strolling around the nick knack shops that contain eccentric items and some quite unique items too.

With a little bit of planning I snapped these shots of different teapots in a vast array of styles, if you could call them that.  Even Dragons have been made into a teapot, lordy, lordy, what next.

These items were in a Tea House and boy o boy are there some strange teapots with rather strange price tags, way, way, way expensive. Who seriously would want to have a pot of tea out of a owl or a pig or a car.

The price tag that went with most of these was exceptional, yes exceptionally expensive, it is good to look  a n d  completely remove any idea of actually taking any one of these babies home with you.

These tea sets are actually miniature with a big price tag.  Have I mentioned how pricey these are?

Now we are into the traditional tea services, very nice some of them.

I know someone who would of loved this teapot with cup underneath on it's saucer as they love anything with Violets on it, but for the life of me I can't remember who?  maybe you will read this and own up to who you are, am so sorry for forgetting your name, but I did this shot just for you.

Honest

Some pots that actually go on the stove with strange whistlers, I really like the globe of the world and the giraffe.

I didn't even bother to look at how much for these whistlers, I was sort of in shock by this stage.

Oh course this would not of been a Tea House without the actual loose leaf tea would it.

Hope you have all enjoyed the tour,

Happy T for Tuesday Everyone.

What a fabulous shop. I'd love to browse around it.
Like Judy, I love eccentric teapots too. I'd love one that whistles; I did like the globe style one. I also like the violets one, it's very pretty. Maybe next time I need a replacement..hmm. Happy T Day :o))

Eliza, thanks for joining us for T this Tuesday. I so enjoyed the visit to this shop. I would not be tempted to buy anything, except possibly the globe, which I have a thing for. In fact, I have a glass globe cup I had completely forgotten about. Must find it.

Such diversity in these pots, isn't there? I couldn't believe that pink poodle. Had me laughing.

Thanks for sharing this fun experience with us for T this week. Hope to see you (and even Yoda) again soon.

Love that shop. I had a set like that but remember I lost the cup and my teapot was lonely LOL

Wow, what a fantastic World of Teapots! Must have been quite fascinating to wander around that shop and see all of those.
I once bought my cousin a fab (well I thought so) teapot from China but when she stopped collecting them she took it to the charity shop - how I wish she had asked me first!
In the 'normal' ones I like the look of that blue set - what a delightful colour.
Thanks for showing us
Hugs, Neet xx

Hello and Happy T Day! WOW, that is a lot of teapots and variety that you don't see much of. Not sure I would want one any animal one but I do love all the pretty tea sets and flowered ones. Too bad they are pricey.
Thanks for sharing these since I haven't been in a shop like this, was neat to see.
