So moving on to the good stuff......
Had a visitor yesterday a long awaited WOYWW friend Judy form Judy's Fabrications she came bearing some really wonderful gifts, gosh I had an instant liking to Judy all I wanted to do is hug her and her lovely sweet husband Kevin. Introduced Judy to Yoda, and the following happened. Judy loves Yoda, Yoda loves Judy gosh I should put that in a heart.
We went and did a little retail therapy for Judy and of course she was not disappointed, in actual fact I think her heart did palpitate quite dramatically when she saw all the stock that was available. Kevin and I sat and chatted on the couch while Judy browsed the shelves trying not to shake, I do think her legs were a bit wobbly too. LOL
We came home and had a rather late lunch and chatted all afternoon. Poor Kevin was fading fast getting so tired it was a big day all around.
Yoda on the other hand was in seventh heaven. I was showing Myrene the blanket Judy bought for Yoda and I to snuggle under and spread it out, Yoda instantly thought is was his, walked onto it and started kneading in and snuggling in, wish Judy had stayed to see this happen. It was so funny, like a magnet he was and he stayed there for nearly 5 hours, unmovable.
For those who want to see out the window here is the shot of the Clivia's again still in magnificent bloom. On the window table is a box that Judy gave me and some instructions for making material flowers and a couple of bags of cogs that I need to post off to Annette from Annette's Art Alchemy.
I hope you have enjoyed this post I am off to visit some more desks over at the Stamping Ground where Julia runs the best blog hop, why don't you join us you are most welcome.
Hugs to all and happy crafting
Eliza, Yoda & Flat Susan.

I love the way we make friends on WOYWW. So nice that you got to meet her in real life. I have seen Ali H twice now and the time together is never long enough to share all we need and want to talk about. Yoda looks so comfy with her and as for that blanket...well that photo tells it all! #17
You and Judy sound like you had a fab time together! All that shopping and chatting! Yoda looks happy !
It's good your more home bound at the moment means a little crafting can happen

great post and fun times with Judy! My heart did a little flip flop with the pictures of the store and all the goodies. Yoda looks totally enamored with the new blanket. My girls love their fleece blankets and do the same! Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Vickie #25
I love meeting up with friends off WOYWW....because you get to know someone online, you just carry on the conversation on real life! Judy looks really lovely and that pic of her and Yoda snuggling is real peach. Cats are very good judges of character, don't you think?!
I think my legs would have been wobbling if I was in that fabric place..OMG, so much choice......sigh. I fancy a shopping trip there ;-)

How wonderful to meet Judy. I love her blog. Her work is fantastic and so fascinating to see - what a talented lady. And now you have something she has made! Lucky you - and Myrene.
I bet it was very heartwarming to see how Yoda and she got on, funny how our pets can sense who to go to like this.
Enjoy your rest - and your gifts.
Hugs, Neet 29 cc
Lovely to meet up isn't it? And I am totally there with you. When DS was home last weekend he wanted a bit of art to take back with him - plucking things off the high shelf above the bookcases, and I found some things that needed repairs as well! Most of the time it's glue - why is it so hard to find a long lasting, quick set glue??
And of that colourful display - fabric envy for sure!
Happy WOYWW!

Oooh I am SO envious, Eliza, you spending time with Judy and Kevin!!! I would love to have been there. How sweet of Yoda to make Judy so welcome, too. If he's adopted that blanket, you can wave goodbye to any chance of keeping it for yourself lol! What fun all that retail therapy. I think I'd have gone weak at the knees and got palpitations too.
Happy belated WOYWW,
