Ah life is bliss at the moment, I have taken some time off from being on the road, I suppose you can call it holidays but I never actually stop working as I do work from home too. So it is home-grounded work I have been doing, like working on the garden outside getting the seriously neglected garden into some form of respective order.

So moving on to the good stuff......

Had a visitor yesterday a long awaited WOYWW friend Judy form Judy's Fabrications  she came bearing some really wonderful gifts, gosh I had an instant liking to Judy all I wanted to do is hug her and her lovely sweet husband Kevin. Introduced Judy to Yoda, and the following happened.  Judy loves Yoda, Yoda loves Judy gosh I should put that in a heart.

We went and did a little retail therapy for Judy and of course she was not disappointed, in actual fact I think her heart did palpitate quite dramatically when she saw all the stock that was available.  Kevin and I sat and chatted on the couch while Judy browsed the shelves trying not to shake, I do think her legs were a bit wobbly too.  LOL

We came home and had a rather late lunch and chatted all afternoon.  Poor Kevin was fading fast getting so tired it was a big day all around.

Yoda on the other hand was in seventh heaven.  I was showing Myrene the blanket Judy bought for Yoda and I to snuggle under and spread it out, Yoda instantly thought is was his, walked onto it and started kneading in and snuggling in, wish Judy had stayed to see this happen.  It was so funny, like a magnet he was and he stayed there for nearly 5 hours, unmovable.

















Judy was having a look through my art bits and pieces that are on shelves in the art room and I noticed some repairs that needed to be done, so they are on the desk with a high priority, to be fixed, like the Mosaic piece I made many years ago.  Also on the desk is a tin from Judy and two pin holders which are absolutely divine there are many bits there, she really lathered me with gifts.  Myrene also got some and wow what work Judy can do it was so inspiring, we sat and chatted about how she did this and that and well you know how we analyse art, you have been there before.

 For those who want to see out the window here is the shot of the Clivia's again still in magnificent bloom. On the window table is a box that Judy gave me and some instructions for making material flowers and a couple of bags of cogs that I need to post off to Annette from Annette's Art Alchemy.
