What a month I have had in my house, it has been full on until last Sunday and seriously I didn't do much at all on Sunday and the next thing I know it is now Wednesday, what in the blue blazers happened to the other days in between? Well the chaos life has come to a halt for now and I have a week maybe two weeks off. Yippee. Flat Susan is still with me and she is keeping up, she is sitting on a pile of some really important stuff that she doesn't want you to see yet, she is so happy. We have a special visitor arriving next week from interstate and a few other things to do with her and so many posts qued ready to go I just don't want to bombard you with all her stuff and seriously she is now one big celebrity, bigger than before.
So onto the desk, it has had some action, yep I made an 80th Birthday card for my FIL and went out for lunch on Monday to celebrate it with the family. I also had grandurs of creating a few more cards and did some retail therapy on the way home the other day, gosh if you can call a mad wind 15 minute shop and 4 pieces of paper and a blending card journal a shop then that is what I did. I still need to clean up my mess but, I just don't seem to have it in me. There is a mess on the window desk and mess on the main desk but hey don't look there I have a ring of Clivia's outside my window, spring has sprung in my yard. I have some beautiful orchids out the side and some magnolia flowers out the back of the house.
Yoda is happy I am home giving him cuddles but thinks it is weird I am up during the day time so he moves onto Myrene's hoody for hugs, he is not really happy with me, since being home he has had a bath and a big clean up, life happens.
So what have you got on your desk, visit more desks here at Julia's place called the Stamping Ground. If you are visiting from there please leave a comment and I will most certainly get back to you. If I have missed replying in the last few weeks, then I am so sorry.
This is the card I made for my FIL sorry photo taken on the back seat of the car at last minute, no editing LOL, yep really simple card but gets the point across.
Hope you all have a wonderful week
Happy Crafting and Happy WOYWW
Hugs Eliza, Yoda & Flat Susan

Lots going on there! life just seems so busy at the moment doesn't it and it isn't even Christmas! Enjoy Flat Susans visit - she will be coming to visit me one day too!
Your desk looks great - lovely that you've got some time off, and I look forward to reading about susan's adventures. Helen 5
Those clivias are amazing, Eliza. I have four pots full of them here, but, of course, they are indoor plants in this climate. One is over 70 years old - and still produces offshoots each year - ours won't flower now until April/May.
Well, Susan sounds like she is really enjoying travelling round with you - glad she has managed to find somewhere to sit and take it easy for a while now - and you, too! Have a great, fun, creative, break.
Take care. God bless.

Great looking crafty space! I have had hectic month also and finally it is slowing down a bit. Fall is slowly making its way to OKlahoma but according to the weatherman it will be 32 tomorrow. Yoga looks comfortable with her cuddle. Have a great week. Vickie#21

I love the card your made - and simple often looks better - I really don't think you can improve on a card like this - it works!
Glad you are having a bit of a break after all the activity.
Lovely to see Yoda with Myrene like that - cute or what?
Hugs, Neet xx
That's a great card you made! Simple but effective. With large letters, readable even for a 100 year old!
I love your Clivias! Here in Europe they are house plants and don't usually get this large. I'm impressed!
Yoda looks snug. I'm glad you posted a picture of him.
I've just been reading about Flat Susan's adventure with Mylene. She certainly has some fun.
Well, enjoy your time off and I'm already looking forward to reading what you three have been up to during that time.
CU soon

I'm glad you've had some time off and I share your worry about where the days go and what did I do in them?! I hardly ever sit down and do nothing, so I must be filling the time somehow but am beggared if I can remember! Sign of age.....ah well, that's a good excuse :-)
Flat Susan is a having a ball with you, isn't she? Glad Yoda isn't too jealous of the attention she's getting!
Hugs, LLJ 30 xx
A perfect card i say - and frankly from someone who lives life at the speed that you d, I'd say any handmade card is a triumph! I laughed at your comment the other day about spring and a 28 degree day - that's a heatwave in mid summer for us! Our max temperature for today is a sunny 18, and I shall be in the garden in a tshirt to welcome it!
Flat Susan must be having the time of her life, wish I was with her!
I'm catching up on you, Yoda, and Flat Susan. Spent time reading all the adventures she has had since joining you, and even before. I can't believe it's been that long since I visited.
Not sure which of you has been busier, but I doubt it was Yoda. Glad that you now have time off and can once again breathe.
Don't look for a number, cause I'm still not playing in WOYWW, but wanted to stop by and say HEY (or g'day). BTW, ice and snow? That's MY life in winter.
I love the view from your window, very fresh and green - I don't know what Clivia's are but they are very pretty! Hope you have a great week, Diana #37
Busy Busy desk - great to see! Love the card for FIL. Yoda looks super-snuggled! Lyns #42
Love your cards, always - but for one of the out-laws? LOL! Must find time to catch up on Flat susan but not tll mine go. I like them, don't get me wrong, but there is that feeling of being judged IYKWIM, even if they don't actually MEAN it that way :) Oh well....
Happy WOYWW!

It's all very cloak and dagger stuff Eliza... very intriguing ;D
I loved your comment what the blue blazers... it just seems to sum it up perfectly.
Gorgeous to take a peek out of your window to all that springiness.
Great card too.
Enjoy your time off

Hi Eliza, and Yoda and Flat Susan, I guess FS is visiting for a while!
I love the clivias, never heard of them before! You are going into spring, and we have a very warm dry autumn going on here, but it is due to change - probably just as we go away for a few days to Devon!
Yoda is sulking from his bath then, the dogs hate baths and hide from me when they realise - but they love getting dry again! I keep telling Sooty if he will go out front and get covered in awful smells where the cat or a fox visits the neighbour's shrub - then he will get a bath every time!
Happy WOYWW.
Hugs,

Flat Susan is having way too much fun over there! Beautiful 80th card. x Jo

No, it's not mess, just creative space! Love the 80th card. Thanks for sharing. Hope that you have a lovely crafting week to come. Hazel, WOYWW #81 x
Jeepers you've been busy! Wonderful card, and most importantly done in time! Your Clivias are beautiful. And Yoda is absolutely precious, even if a bit out of sorts. Thanks for visiting me earlier today. #55
Looks as if you are really busy, Eliza, with lots going on. Awww what a gorgeous photo of Yoda! They do love to snuggle up and get warm, don't they. I am hoping to make some felt cat caves one day, once I get good enough at felt making! Funny to think of you just coming into spring... it's getting much more autumnal here in the UK! Flat Susan looks flat out after all her travels. That slim lady sure does get about, doesn't she.
Thanks for your lovely comment. You did comment on my house card - another lovely comment! Thanks. You are very kind with what you said about my work, and I am glad you are enjoying it!
Thanks for your good wishes about my health. Lately I do seem to have been rather through the mill and back, and I'm getting pretty fed up with them sticking things into me just so they can have a look lol! I had a light shoved up my nose the other day! What with Mum and her ailments (93 yrs old) and all my stuff, my poor hubby has his work cut out and is always driving one or other of us to hospital/surgery appointments. Got to keep smiling though.
Happy WOYWW,

Hey, Eliza great to see you and Yoda. Nice to have time off. It will be fun having Flat Susan with you. Cx #67
What a cute picture of Yoda! I have been catching up on your past posts and see that Flat Susan has been up to a lot. I do hope she won't get lost as she travels to different places. I once had a little teddy bear that traveled with me all over the world. He fell out of my belt bag while I was traveling in New York and I cried like a baby when I couldn't find him! Well, he did enjoy the travels anyway, just as I'm sure Flat Susan is enjoying hers.
Hi Eliza, nice to see flat Susan, I wondered where she was currently residing in the world. Love those trellis dies. Love your garden too I have never heard of Clivia's but they really are beautiful. Sweet Yoda looks very content snuggled up in the hoodie making the most of Myrene's body heat. Great 80th card sometimes simple is better because of that. Enjoy your free time.
Hugs Lottie
I hope you're sitting with your feet up Eliza, what a busy time you've had. I don't know about Monday or Tuesday, but I'm still wondering where January, February, March, April etc went!! Thanks for the fairy card love, be warned that the stamp set is cheap and horrible! I had to fill my fairy in with a black ink pen, and that was after a few practice stamps to see which ink worked best. The foliage stamps top and bottom of the card are Inkadinkado, I wasn't going to risk the free ones again!
Hugs

Awesome card! I love Clivias! The pot in front of my front door is in full bloom and reminds me of my dad every time I leave my house or return home, because it was part of my inheritance from him.
Happy WOYWW!
