Nothing really much has been happening on the desk because of work and sickness. Yoda has cracked the S--ts with me for being away from him. You see I was sick for nearly 2 weeks and he had me day and night for cuddles round the clock, but now I am back working he is hating it. He is hanging his head and will not let me take a photo, I might be lucky and get a hug from him later.
Yes that is my latte front and center ready to drink.
I have been altering my stamp storage area and made some new pockets to keep them organised better, also with the premeditation of expanding the colour ranges. I moved my shelves from the left side of the window desk to the right as my line of sight out the window was hindered before, I couldn't see people that would be arriving to the house. I am much happier with that arrangement too. Can you find my WOYWW badge? You will notice a little cup in the window that has heaps of buttons in it that I found at my dad's place, I thought I could utilize the use of the buttons ( mum passed away 8 years ago) I think it is an acceptable time lapse to use these things. I am still finding stuff all over the house that can be used in one way or anther. Dad doesn't seem to care these things are there or not, he probably is pleased to see them get used.
So why have I told you all this, you know the drill pop on over to Julia's place and say hello to other desker's of the world and join in on the fun. Julia's place is called the Stamping Ground and you will be most welcome.
Hugs to all and happy crafting
Eliza & Yoda

Sorry to hear you've been sick. Good to see you have your priorities right with the latte on your desk ... but hope you don't leave it to go cold like I often do. Thanks for sharing your workspace today. Hazel, WOYWW, #34 x
What a lovely space and so nice to be able to see people coming down the path.

Yoda is so cute in that photo! I love your crafty space too. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #55
So sorry you have been poorly, but pleased that you are recovered now. Poor Yoda, they do get used to having their cuddles when it suits them and not us, hope he gets over the 'rejection'!!
It seems that a lot of Woywwers are doing lots of sorting and re-arranging, hope you find the new positions for things are better.

Hi Eliza. I do hope you are really feeling better now - 2 weeks is a long time to feel unwell. Yoda has indeed got the sulks, hasn't he?!
Found your badge!! Gold star for me... Good to be able to see who is coming - you can decide whether to break off what you are doing or stay put and keep quiet :-)
Lots of things there on the desk to peek at this afternoon.
Take care. God bless.

Oh so sorry you have been sick Eliza. Nothing better when feeling poorly than a cat on your lap. Poor baby, he must be missing his cuddles.Just showed Kev Yoda's pic with his head down. Yes cats do get in a mood when they think they are being ignored or "neglected".I am looking forward to our visit. Can't wait!!!!!!

Your view is just wonderful now that you shifted things around and it's funny how our little guys get upset when they don't get their way. I get meows for when he wants anything... outside, food, catnip etc.. thanks for the visit hugs Nikki
So sorry to hear you've been ill, Eliza - sounds like all the mad running around you did caught up with you. I'm really glad that you're feeling better now. Hope you have eased your way back into work and it has not been too bonkers.
I think your mum would be happy to know that you're using her stuff. Much better than being stuffed in a drawer. I've got all sorts of things from after my mum died that I use all the time and some that I've cut up for crafting as well. So carry on and enjoy :-)
Poor Yoda, he does look down. Cats have a talent for making us mere humans feel guilty, huh?!
Hugs, LLJ 24 xx
LOL! So much cleaning and reorganizing for many of us :) EVEN Julia! But don't worry - I haven't given up my hoarding totally, and feel very comfortable with what I HAVE binned. It's a lot more about sorting and getting rid of actual rubbish I promise.
I slightly reorganized my window and side desk area as well, and actually reverted back to how it was a year ago - I can see the "new" way wasn't working as well. Oh, and I don't have NEARLY enough dies to worry about the strength of my binder.... but will keep your sturdier idea in mind in case it DOES get to that point....
Happy WOYWW!

Hey Eliza, sorry to hear that you have been poorly too. Glad you are feeling better. I don't think I've ever seen the window view of your space - SO jealous of a window! Love the photo of Yoda, our Furbabies were most irritated that we went away for x2 weeks! Cx#59
lovely organised space there and I am glad you are happy with the new arrangement - I just moved my craft table two feet to the left in my craft room and its amazing the difference it has made being able to get into a couple of drawers more easily! Glad you are feeling better now too. Sunshine Girl #17
Hope you and Yoda are fit and well!!
So sorry to hear that you were so sick! And yes, my cats also enjoyed very much me being in bed all day. Your view is real nice, I understand you wanted to have a better view out of that window.
Thank you for visiting earlier, Eliza.
Cheers

I'm so glad to see you feeling better after such a long sickness, Eliza! Your photo of Yoda is so perfect to show how emotional he is. I loved your post! You are doing a great job of reorganizing! Take care now! Hugs, Darnell
Oh dear Eliza, you are in the dog house! I hope Yoda forgives you!
Sorry to hear you were sick. Your space is looking good, and you have a lovely view too.
Thank for visiting - I need to visit all the 9s after me!

Oh, my, Yoda is not a happy cat. I'm glad to hear you're recovered from being sick. Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting! ~ Laura #53
Hi Eliza, thanks for stopping by at mine. It's still Thursday here but I think you are on Friday by now LOL!
I am late getting round this week as people have kept on demanding my attention. Went for a 10 mile walk today with a friend then food shopping, it's all go.
Yoda looks tired to me, perhaps because you have been at home he has had less sleep in order to look after his sick mummy.
Take care, Angela x
I am so sorry you haven't been feeling well. I hope you are better. That cappucino looks yummy. Poor Yoda - he feels neglected. Awwwww April #70
ah, Eliza, glad you are now on the mend and back to crafting there.. or sorting/ rearranging the crafty stash.. thanks for popping over and am sure Yoda will forgive you soon you take such good care of your puss's, Shaz in Oz.x #33
Two weeks..blimey, when you get sick, you really take it all on, am so glad you're back up and at it. Poor Yoda, his separation anxiety getting the better of him...his bowed head..had to smile!
I love your reasoning over the buttons..I think it's exactly right, and your increased eyeline from the desk looks great. Once done, you kinda ask yourself why you didn't think of it sooner, huh...or is it just me....!
I have a collection of buttons and art materials that I inherited from my wife's grandmother. I use them to make special cards for loved ones and always tell the recipient where they came from. They cherish it, and know that my wife's grandmother would have appreciated them being used. Therefore, I'm sure your Mother is smiling as you use her materials creatively. I love that shot of your kitty too. Blessings!
There's a kitty whose nose is well and truly out of joint, Eliza! He'll come round in the end, but he has to make his point first, to avoid loss of face lol! I had a kitty once who would pay me back for exactly the number of days I'd been away...
Love your creative space, and it all looks very busy and productive. Sorry you've been ill but glad to hear you are better now.
Thanks for your lovely comment, and glad you like my new look office!
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #40
Glad you're back up and feeling better, but poor Yoda. He looks so sad. Your desk area looks great! Nice and roomy and a great view, too! Happy belated WOYWW and thanks for popping by!
Carol N #56
I like your desk and organization. Looking out your window to see guests is so nice!
I am happy to hear you are feeling better. Yoda is a good cuddle companion from the sounds of it. Aren't cats great?
Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Kathy Jo #44
oh dear, hope you are all better now and Yoda has forgiven you for going back to work! Seeing him there remeinds me how much I miss my old cat Archie "helping me" in my craft room - he used to climb up the loft ladder to join me! Sorry for the late visit but happy WOYWW anyway :o) Annie C #45
Oh poor Yoda looks so very sad and dejected. How dare you not devote every second of every day giving the poor kitty pets and snuggles! Work? Who need to work?!?! Haha!!!
Spotted your button too!
Happy (late) WOYWW!
