WOYWW 268

I have a desk full with crap, I did the push it to the side clean up that I have been reading about on other blogs and it really works well.  I also did the pickup a place somewhere else, it also seemed to work, maybe there is something in this method after all.
Yesterday part of the day was filled with cutting mats for the photo album that my dad's girlfriend is sorting through.  Some of the photos are smaller than the pocket so mounting them onto a card and re-slotting was the solution.  Here is one album that is over full but done none the least.  She seemed tickled with the end result and to me that is all that mattered.  I did run out of cream cardstock, so after my Charity work today I whipped over to Doggarts Paper Supplier and got another ream of the stuff and some off cuts, just because I can and definitely not because I need them but hey they will come in handy and it is only $5 per bag.

I still have baby cards to do and some other cards, so I will get back to them after tomorrow as I have another few hours with Dad's Girlfriend to finish off the vintage photos.

So my desk is manic overload and crazy but hey who is really looking.  (OK I know it is you looking) please be kind and don't make me suffer.  So in all it's glory and yes I have been productive, the blankets are gone and I have nearly finished another one for my great nephew who was born last Wednesday. There is still a sea of blue, mint and pink.  Oh do you see that Latte on the desk?  I need that latte for sure and then there is Stefan in the corner?  yes he is still there keeping me company.

Yoda shot for everyone that want a piece of him sitting on his computer desk stool.  He was trying to get to his cheese that he knew I had on the desk.  I had to blackmail him to come out from hiding today as it was a little chilly down here.

I do hope you are all having a wonderful week crafting.  If you want to see more desks then pop on over to the Stamping Ground where Julia can explain it all  and check the other craft spaces and who is working on what ATM.

Hugs Eliza & Yoda

That last photo of Yoda looks as if he really is the cat that has the cream (read cheese instead).
Gosh that cream card is brilliantly priced I think I would have to have some of that if I lived close. What a sterling job you are doing.
Lovely shot of your wall of goodies Eliza.
Love to all special cuddles to 'you know who'.

Hi Eliza and Yoda, it feels really strange when you talk about it being cold, the weather in the UK is very hot again LOL!
I think Yoda has you taped, he knows whose boss in your house and who the slave is!
Happy crafting and have a great week, Angela x #44

Hi Eliza, love the pics of Yoda. He's not the only cheese eating cat, Ambrose loves it too. Unfortunately, it does not agree with him at all, so I won't let him have it anymore. But that does not stop him sitting at my feet, howling for it! Hugely productive desk, by the look of it, and yes, the 'shove to one side' is the tried and tested crafting method here too! That and judicious editing in Photoshop, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #22 xx

Oh, that Stefan, so silent and loyal always waiting for you. He may be cool, but Yoda takes the cake every time. And by cake I mean cheese of course. Love the piles of fun things on your desk, so much to paw through! That push to the side method is tried and true every time!

Love that action shot of Yoda ascending the heights of your desk! He's a determined chap :-)
Am loving the chaos of your desk today, at least you're achieving loads more than me. I'm procrastinating like hell at the moment...sigh.
Hope you are well and happy,

poor baby...Yoda looks every inch his years doesn't he. When we used to take our old cat to the vet he was a star. They all loved him in his ancientness. His name was Mr Fred Minkles!

Well no one can say there isn't much going on on your desk Eliza. Busy, busy, busy, Think Stephen should be a bit more help instead of just standing there looking pretty. Love that shade of pink and all those pretty pearls too. Yoda is looking good in the first pic and in the other he looks like he is thinking "you better not be posting this pic of me on your blog, or there's gonna be trouble with a capitol T". Take care both of you Hugs Lottie x #75

I spied the latte mug and admired it before you mentioned it. Good to see Yoda. It's cooled down here in Michigan a lot, putting on sweaters in the mornings and evenings. So many wonderful things to see on your desk this week! Enjoyed my visit today. Diane #51

Gosh, what a well ordered craft room you have, so much space and so much stash, I'm getting really green eyed.
Love your pile of pink stuff, clearly something planned for that lot.
And Yoda, he is just wonderful as always, making sure he is in the picture, because he know that we would feel cheated without a pic of him.

You must have the most expressive cat on the web. Love those cards and good to see you are best at the desk doing what you love.

Saw your blog featured on Darnell's site and when she mentioned Yoda, I had to come check you out!!! I love cats, too. I have 20 of them....yes, you read right, 20!!....all rescues. Good thing hubby is a vet and we live in rural Idaho where they have lots of room.

I, too, have utilized the push to the side method of cleaning my craft table. Now that my workspace has shrunk to a little 10" by 20" spot with mountainous sides, I might actually have to put some things away!!! Ha!

I would love for you to visit my blog where I post about cats and life with cats, along with my papercraft projects. :)

Hello Eliza. I don't see too much there which needs moving away - it just looks like a really busy space to me. Well done on the album - good work - I love doing that with all our photos, too. Great stash of pink there on your desk.
Take care. God bless.
