WOYWW 258

What I week I have had busy and productive. I've sorted and collated handbooks for the Charity Group, made simple cards and attached badges to them for Volunteers week this week, which are now being distributed.  The box on the desk has the extras in it.  Yes my chocolate bunny is still not eaten but the bag of Licorice Allsorts are slowly been nibbled away.

I've been shopping, very important to have retail therapy right, but me being the bargain hunter that I am well you will be surprised.  I went to the reverse re-cycle place not to far from me and was in awe at what was there, now I am taking DeDe tomorrow.  All this stuff on the end of the desk is from the recycle shop.  There were stamps, cardstock, little round foam things, which will be great to use to edge cards etc, it is already mounted with sticky so I am going to add a bottle cap to them and bingo no dirty fingers.  That box to the back has about 60 of the blighters in it.  Also some glossy card, mounting board, like the stuff used for framing pictures, perfect for ATC backs, it makes the ATC really sturdy, stencils, wallpaper border which is great for binding.  Lots of bags of embossing powder and a can of glitter spray by Krylon.  All of this for $10, bargain.

As you can see the desk is full to the brim.

I have made quite a few cards this week and even posted them off, I started an album but got sidetracked and really want to make some ATC's for the Anniversary swap.  This is my next high priority.  If you want to see the cards that have been made see my former posts, gosh I even entered a challenge with decorated envelopes, this is right up my alley, I love decorating the envelopes to be posted.

Now a lot of people have asked me about Yoda, this little man is a cat that thinks he is human and demands cuddles 24/7 he is such a snuggle puss. He sleeps in my arms at night/day, depending on my shifts, he demands to sit tucked under my arm on his hind legs with his 2 front paws like arms touching me constantly.  He is the most pleasurable cat on the planet.  He howls if he is ignored,  howls like nothing I have  ever heard in my life.  He is just a joy and I love him to bits, he loves his kisses and if you don't give him any he keeps touching and patting your face until he gets them.  What more can you ask for in a cat.  I do have to say check out his whiskers, he had none when I rescued him and look at them now all grown healthy.  This is his stool next to my computer to keep him close and happy whilst I try and upload this post, he wants to go to bed, bless him.

Sorry about the darkness of the photos these have been taken at 0100 in the morning, normal hours for me.

If you visit please leave a comment and your link number so I can return the visit and thank you Julia over at the Stamping Ground  for hosting the best blog hop in the world.

Hope you have a wonderful crafting week.

Hugs Eliza & Yoda

Wow, Eliza - you lucky little crafter, you! What a find! Yoda reminds me of our Rosie. She just sits peacefully on me, but stands on DH's knee, waiting to be patted - constantly! The moment he stops, she starts tapping him - it's hilarious! have a great week, Chris # 23

I love Yoda! How long ago did you rescue him? I am working on my ATCs too! You got some great deals and some fun stuff! Thank you for the visit! I laughed when you said you went and watched the videos because that's what I did when I first heard about it 5 months ago.
Hope you have a productive week!

Wow you got some bargains there! What on earth are you doing up at 1am? I'm ready for bed by 9pm usually, especially during the week, lol! Yoda looks very well, he's making up with all your loving for how he was treated with his first owners I think. Looking forward to the break, it's turned cold again, 3C tonight. Bloomin' weather can't make it's mind up!

Love the picture of Yoda and your stories about him. I used to have Burmese cats and they had very strong personalities too, but they were totally unbearable as bed fellows, so they always slept downstairs. I now have two dogs who will not let me sleep past 6.30 am. You do have a lot of lovely space in which to work. I have now found my camera charger but the paint is still missing. I have ordered a new set, on the grounds that I need it now and it will still get used anyway. Hope you have a good week. xx Maggie #20

Hi Eliza,
Well you have been busy, busy, busy! The reverse cycle garbage sounds wonderful! I have only been to the one here just once, years ago. Really, I would be buried alive in stuff if it was more convenient!
Yoda is looking very cute, as per usual.
I will have spare ATCs if you would like to swap too.
Oh, and I also have one Lindt (white) rabbit still staring at me. He's not going to last much longer :)

WOW! what a great therapy trip you had, lots of goodies,

Thanks for the visit this week, poor Yoda, so sleepy. Our dog comes and whines at us when SHE thinks it's bedtime. What we would do with out our petpeople?

I'm hanging my head in shame, and Bleubeard is chastising me because I haven't been by sooner to visit. But I have an excuse. My internet has been really blinky all week, and I've been offline as much as on.

Having said all that, I want to move to the other Oz, your Oz, where you have these wonderful recycle centers that sell things for incredibly cheap prices. Very impressive things you were able to pick up for a song.

Bleubeard thinks Yoda is far luckier than he is. After all, he only snuggles when he wants something, unlike Yoda, who seems grateful for all the love and attention you offer him. He's one lucky little guy.

Thanks again for visiting me so much lately, while I was unable to return the favor. I hope to get caught up soon, so I can see what you've been making while I was "sluffing off."

yet another missed week! Sorry.
Love how Yoda is sitting on his stool to be near to you. He looks so proud in this photo - maybe he knows it is going to circulate the globe.
You have been busy, thought you were supposed to be resting?
