WOYWW 251

Had a week of heavy work and paperwork, strategic planning work wise, not a lot has been happening in the craft room.  Sorted through my boxes of scrap card and paper and I only did this because I couldn't put my hand on a tiny bit of white and black card at the time.  I have a lot of things I want to do but to be honest I think I am in an exhaustion slump.  I haven't caught up with my bestie and even had minimal time on the phone with her.

So to my desk. I received a lovely parcel from Karen Ives yesterday, she has the blog called frayedaroundtheedges.blogspot.co.uk.  The parcel is filled with all sorts of goodies, lace, ephemera, flowers, buttons and lots of cottage stuff, really beautiful, I feel spoilt, thank you so much Karen.  Also on the desk is some stamps from Magenta & Penny Black a card base that I found in the scraps box.  My cutting trolley is still to the side and I have stamps on the window bench that I have not finished with quite yet.  Oh there is my iPad mini that needs re-charging near the scan n cut.  I can't survive without my mini this is my library for books. Quite a mess for me don't you think?

Yoda well he is doing great, I am quite proud of his whiskers to be honest, the little man didn't have any when we picked him out of the car boot and now look at the length of them they are getting long and taken over 14 months to get there.  Strange today the weather is overcast but a little warm so he is not under the blankets, just nestled in them.  He has to keep his bald patches warm, well that is my theory anyway and I am sticking to it. LOL

So you want to see more desks then pop on over to Julias place, she is the Queen of desks and the blog is called The Stamping Ground she likes to get people together to have a perv, sounds nasty doesn't it perving! but hey it is all done with fun and love.  We crafters love seeing what others have got and are doing.  So please drop in and say hi, leave a comment and your link number if you are part of the blog hop.  Oh and a final thing, if you have word verification please turn it off, just moderate your comments instead.  The bloody word thingy drives me nuts, to be honest you really don't want me going over the edge today. If you visit me I will return the visit.  Thanks for visiting and listening to my rambling.........

Have a great week everyone and thanks for popping in to have a look, don't forget to leave a comment and you link number.

Hugs Eliza & Yoda

Eliza, this is an organised mess :) I have been under the weather and have been itching to spend more time at my desk, but have felt weary this week. Yoda is a delight, always amazing to see how well a rescue kitty does. Cx #21

Your desk is always interesting, so much going on - hope you come out of your exhaustion slump soon (I know what they are like!) No WV on my blog so do drop by...Helen 11

Never mind, I am coming out of my slump. I even did a bit of stamping (and colouring) before I went out to lunch yesterday. And in my finery! So it will happen to you my dear Eliza.
In the meantime just enjoy your cuddles with your furry babies, especially Yoda who needs constant telling on how handsome he is with his whiskers. That should do the trick for the old mojo.

More crafting needed, I think...shame life and work gets in the way! Your desk needs a little more action :-)
Yoda is looking particularly dignified today...a proper gent!

Okay, I have to admit, the Christmas countdown in the corner put me in a mild panic, but then the pic of Yoda--he always looks so very content--was very calming!

You've been busy, but don't worry, you'll feel better and be back to it all soon!

Happy woyww to you!

I don't know what your desk usually looks like, but that one is very neat and clean! Yoda does look very serene. I would love to hear his story - I tried going back in your posts but didn't find it. He looks like a rescued cat - maybe abused at some point? I also have a rescue cat, who was thrown in a box with her brothers and sisters, and just thrown away. She follows me around like as puppy dog! Lindart #79

Lovely new crafting goodies, sorry life has been to busy to think about using them. If I were you I'd sit by the pool in the sun and let the warmth re-charge my old bones! I practically took the month of February off if you recall and now I'm going great guns! Yeah, I like to keep the Christmas scraps separate from the other DP scraps, makes life a lot easier.

Your work load will kill a lesser mortal, I think. I worry about you! For the first time ever I haven't made time to blog in between Wednesdays, and I hate that other things meani don't get to create my own priorities!
At least with this organisation level, when you can find time, you won't be wasting time preparing and clearing. Unlike some, ahem.

Oh dear, Eliza - it doesn't sound like a good week. I hope you get some rest and catch up with the energy levels - and get to catch up with DeDe as well. Can't manage without a best friend, can we?
You desk looks great all set ready for you to be there doing exciting things. That parcel sounds good fun, too!
Have a good week.

Sorry to get to you so very late this week, I have been crazy busy too and my DH decided to take me away for the weekend on the spur of the moment, so I have been gone for three days. Your desk looks less neglected than mine.
Happy crafting with all your new goodies.
Happy very belated WOYWW!
