A Rather Large Card

Sometimes you have to make them large, this one is measuring 9 x 6.5 inches, or 23 x 16 cms.  My DD's church leader is going overseas to Kenya to live with her new husband and she wanted a big card so everyone could write their greetings in it.  I love JOFY so much and the stamps are awesome to work with and I created a large card with them awhile back and I sold in so fast, so it was a no brainer, I knew it would work in this case.  I coloured the pictures with Tria pens and distressed the background with Ranger Distress pads then spritzed it with water and a finger flick, perfect bubbles everywhere, I was happy.  As this was really special, I created an envelope for it and stamped that too.  Coloured the envelope with pencils, then blended the pencils parts with baby oil.  Such a simple technique that works really well especially when using standard white paper for the envelope.  I even worked out a simple way to create envelopes with the scoreboard and a card that is oversized for the envelope maker and Crafters Companion. I was tickled pink, hey my brain must be working today.  I do hope Ruth likes her card, she will receive it tonight at her farewell dinner.  I have insisted on a report LOL
