Where is the time going? another week gone, I hate it when I am working and 2 days become 1 well they do for me. Then I happen to loose track of what is going on around me and which day it is, ah the life of a shift worker.
The Aussies did well in the One Day International Cricket with the English chaps . Was a bit warm for them here in Melbourne but thank the heavens that they didn't stick around for another week, they would of melted in this heat wave we are having. It got to 47 yesterday a real warm one for sure and today is not much better, in actual fact we are in for a whole week of temperatures in the mid 40's plus. I spent the day yesterday with my Bestie De De cataloging stamps, we were a power machine in full operation whilst the world outside melted. After doing the office refurbishment we have to have other stuff in order too, not just everything looking good, it has to be functional and operative.Today is a day of business at home in the office and well a splash in the pool might be in order when it cools down a bit.
Poor Yoda is hot, hot, hot, he is under the air-conditioner vent and wont move. I had to bath him last night to cool him down, he was a roast cat. The other cats find their own cool spots to hide in but lovely Yoda that is another story. My desk is boring, some stamps that need putting away, some green paper to use for punching out leaves for cards later on, it is the perfect green for leaves and waste not want not is my motto. My in progress working trays are neat up the other end not moving, nothing in action, to bloody hot.
Want to know why I am telling you all this then pop on over to Julia's place called the Stamping Ground and find out more about the absolutely wonderful lady who unites many people around the world each week.
Hugs and happy crafting to all, please leave you link number if you are part of the hop, it makes it easier for me to return the visit and I will, also Yoda and I thank you for coming to visit now.

Very neat work area Eliza and so glad we're not in Victoria or the southern states this week...much too hot - our folks are in Bendigo. And even though the cricket's over, it's a wonder there are no casualties at the tennis...I'm watching on TV while I craft (here in Yeppoon). Keep cool, have fun cheers RobynO #13
Number 27 signing in Eliza.
Sorry it has been so hot in your part of the world and affecting Yoda. Poor little chap, hope he can keep cool most of the time, if not all.
Good work you and BF did, now take a rest.
Hugs, Neet xx

Oh my goodness, Eliza. 47??!! It wouldn't just feel hot to me, I'd have melted - don't really do that sort of heat.... well, never get the opportunity here in Britain!
Your room just looks SO neat and tidy - maybe you and DeDe could visit and make sense of my chaos? It's cooler here.
have a great week.
Margaret #52
Poor little Yoda ...in that heat a bath would be welcomed even by a kitty. It is lovely to be back after a 5 week holiday we travelled all over the US. Lots of fun but always happy to be home in OZ.
Sandra @28
Dare I say it is nice for us Brits to see a bit of sunshine out of your window as we freeze here. Thanks for the visit BJ#2
Poor Yoda! He looks well and truly cheesed off with all that heat! As you can imagine it's freezing here in the UK, although apparently we're in for a mild spell - may get up to 13C! I am impressed that you and De De managed to work so hard with the cataloging in that heat: well done you! Have a great WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #54
Poor Yoda, he does look a bit fraught and uncomfortable. During our summer last year, the dogs stayed in with me in front of the big fan for most of the time. Hope you can mange to keep cool. xx Maggie #24
You are such a tidy girl, always putting your stuff in order, ha, ha you can come and do my room too! Yes the English have got quite a battering from you Aussies - I guess we Europeans don't function very well in the heat! I can't complain though we have rather warm weather for January - we usually have -10 now we have +10.
Yoda is looking good!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian
Too hot for me! I think I'd melt into a puddle if I was there now...poor old Yoda, hope the cool bathe helped him cope. I bet you feel like doing anything in that heat...a swim sounds the best thing to do :-)
Hugs, LLJ 45 xx
Way too tidy! LOL! Listen, do you hear that??? Your desk is calling for some crafting! We're in winter where I live but since I'm in the dessert southwest of the U.S. it's not bad for temperatures. Hope Yoda gets cooled off. Thanks for popping by my desk and Happy WOYWW!

Whoa, I prefer warm to cold weather, but that is TOO hot! It was -15° C here last week. Today it's 0° and feels positively balmy, lol.
Poor li'l Yoda, good thing he has you (and the A.C) to keep him cool.
Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the nice comments.
Happy Woyww,
Sandy #13
Oh poor Yoda! I know my two furry babies suffer terribly in even our mild English weather so I can't imagine how hot it must be. Hope you both manage to cool off.
Happy woyww

I love your work area! Sounds like you're a busy lady! Thanks for stopping by! Helen #30
I want to come hang out in your crafting area! It looks like a nice place to play. Plus I'm a lizard and will enjoy the weather. I promise to fan Yoda. With a palm frond. And feed him peeled grapes. Okay, maybe some kibble instead. Judy #82
AH HA! Your work space is WAY cleaner than my house, and you tell me to quit! LOL
I do understand HOT living in California. It is dreadfully hard to get things done when you can't seem to cool off, but you two whipped it all into shape.
Poor Yoda, animals really suffer when it is so hot.
Thanks for the earlier visit
Krisha #26
I did a close up of your desk and it is not boring. You have everything where you can reach as needed. Hope it cools down a bit for you. Thanks for visiting and commenting. #55
Mmmm cricket, not sure we are talking about that here in the UK!!
Wow it's so hot for you, we may moan about the cold and the damp but I think your crazy temperatures are not to be envied. Poor Yoda, I hope he keeps cool.
That's one tidy desk you have there, it must be far too hot for crafting.
Keep cool and safe and thanks for stopping by earlier.
Hugs Lisax '53
That is THE best name for your cat! He looks just like Yoda! We're warmer today than yesterday when it was 0 degrees but I think I prefer that to roasting. Either way, its stay in and craft weather ;-) #41
Man, that IS hot! What's it cooling to at night? If it stays over 18 here everyone moans because it's too hot to sleep! Impressed at the cataloguing, that is NEVER going to happen here, however good my intentions!
Hi Eliza, thanks for swinging by my blog earlier. It is seriously hot where you are!! In stark contrast to the extreme cold we have been having..I love how tidy your desk is. Yoda is a smart boy sitting under the aircon. Cx #25
Ooh, that's way too hot for me - poor Yoda, hope his bath helped cool him down - he's such a cutie! Thanks for stopping by my desk, hope you have a great week.
Diana #51
Wow, 47C! I'd rather have the cold, at least I can warm up, but there's a point when you're hot when you just can't cool down any more! Poor Yoda, at least he's not too cold now, lol! Almost peed myself at the photos of you and Di in Ikea! Surprised they didn't call security! Hope you get back to your desk soon. I'm hoping to have a go at making some kind of a shawl with the new wool, watch this space as they say!
Hugs

Hi Eliza. Thanks for dropping my by blog.
I am loving your craft room.
Hope Yoda has a fan to keep him cool.

Hi Sandra, I am loving your craft room.
Thanks for popping by my blog.
Hope Yoda has a fan to keep him cool.

Sorry Eliza, think I posted a reply to another WOYWW blog on here.
your desk is looking very tidy, it is difficult to concentrate when so hot. I had to laugh at your comment about having a dip in the pool when it has cooled off..... it would have to warm up A LOT just to get me to go anywhere near the water over here at the moment. different worlds eh?
janet #18
VERY tidy - with that heat I'll bet there is nothing better than staying inside (air con? I hope so! )
Still nice excuse to get things sorted for a cooler crafting day soon....
Happy WOYWW evening!
Mary Anne (19)
So very tidy, Eliza--I'm not sure what to say to that.
You must be up to something.
Hiding something from us . . .
;)
Happy WOYWW to you!

Wish we had a little bit of hot instead of all this rain, I don't think we've had one dry day all year!! Jinx has a stool too...he likes to watch what's going on! Have a very Crafty week! Happy WOYWW?!
((Lyn))#39
Forgot to say.... (or maybe I did but can't remember) no bird in the bird house...and poor Ted has been there for two weeks now...I think he feels a bit bored, so I'll move him ready for next weeks woyww!
((Lyn)) #now 39 I think??
Thanks for dropping by and for your kind comment. I think I will call that canvas finished. I usually know when I'm finished but because that one only took a short while, it sort of threw me :)
Keep cool (if possible). It's too hot for me here (Sydney) but nowhere near as bad as what you have there :(
Have a good week though,
RosA # 1
Thanks for calling by at mine yesterday. I would love to feel a little warmer but maybe not that hot....I'd be with Yoda under the air con :-)
Hugs,
A x # 44
I can understand the hot Yoda, I have just watched some of the tennis.....wow, you have it really hot over there at the moment.
Thanks for visiting my desk already
kyla #30
Hi Eliza,
Poor Yoda, suffering in the heat wave. I imagine he likes the bath since it cools him down?
Your desk is VERY neat and ready for action.
Thank you for your visit already! I'm slowly making it around -- and now the numbers have changed so I'm having to hunt for people!
Happy belated WOYWW
peace, Kay (3)
It is really hot over here too! Your desk is looking very tidy.
Happy WOYWW!

Love the look of all the ribbon in the background.Thank you for visiting. Karen #36
Hi Eliza, so fine to see your desk and Yoda :) Thank you for stopping by and your lovely words.
Have a wonderful and creative time!
Greetings from Erika
Oh poor Yoda. :( Now me I love the heat but that might be a bit hot even for this lizard (me). A nice tidy desk today. Cataloging stamps, I'm next (hand held high)! My bestie Joanne likes to do that stuff so she will do mine now that I'm done purging them. Took me two days to go thru them all! On second thought maybe your mid-40s C would be better than our low-50s F. :) Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for the earlier visit! Happy WOYWW! Nan G #9
Bleubeard feels for Yoda. He and I are snuggling together next to the small space heater that keeps my office warm in winter. We would trad you, but we actually prefer cooler weather. Well, I do, at least. I can't speak for Bleubeard.
Thanks for visiting me already because I'm so late my number has changed from 16 to 13.
Great looking desk and work space Eliza! Yoda is such a cute fur baby and is looking so much healthier then in his first pub pics. I wonder if the heat plays havoc with him because of his limited hair? Hope you have a great week. Vickie #99
