WOYWW 226

So much has happened since last week the footy is finally over thank the heavens. I had a play day with my GF and we got stuck into some Christmas Cards for the charity group that is the big pile sitting on the second desk.  Di actually cut and scored all the cards then the added extras, isn't she a champion.  While she did that I cut heaps of dies for her with the Ebosser Machine.

Next is a heap of work carried out in the garden, the front section is partly done with the weeding then mulching, now onto the rest of the yard, this is going to be a work in progress.

Oh and the backyard, I know some of you call it something else in England but here is Australia we call it a backyard is a garden bed planting completed too.  Oh and look at the beautiful orchid I have in flower ATM this is usually up the sideway in another garden section but to beautiful to leave there so it is on the deck to admire more.

Yoda is good, happy that I am home this week to give him more cuddles and sleep.

So if you want to see more desks hop on over to Julia's place and check it out.  Best blog hop in the world.

If you are part of the desk hop can you please leave your link number, it makes it easier to find you and return the gratitude.  Otherwise this can cause frustration trying to find you.

Happy WOYWW everyone
Hugs Eliza & Yoda

Hi Eliza - Just got up for a wander and here we are again - WOYWW. My you have been busy, what happened to the 'rest' after such a busy schedule at work? Lovely to see your garden which is looking so nice and neat. The orchid is very similar to one I have here but as it is the very first one I ever had it resides in the kitchen where I know it will survive.
Love to Yoda who is looking very smart today and posing so well for his photo call.

Your garden is looking terrific all mulched and ready for the summer heat. Its the only way to get it to survive these days with the heat we get now.. The weather has been horrendous with all this wind so many branches down around the place will have to have another bonfire soon.. Look at the terrific job you and Di have been doing with that huge stack of cards well done.. So glad you are getting some crafting time..
Pats to Yoda..

Wow, your garden is so smart! Your hard work has definitely paid off because it looks fab. And that orchid is exquisite, I can see why you moved it...good idea. Your decking looks so lovely and cool....just needs a cold tinny to make it perfect ;-)
Well done on making all those cards...good teamwork, I'd say! Give Yoda a tickle from me :-)

Hi Eliza,
Beautiful, gorgeous orchid!!
I have an (ordinary) cymbidium in my garden, actually growing in the garden so, no pot to move! I usually cut some fronds for inside.
I wish my backyard looked as neat as yours though! And the winds have been a worry up here recently. Gum tree branches are always dropping all over the place.
Keep busy :)

Hope you can get some time to yourself to relax and sleep now Eliza, or is it straight into the next busy period? Fantastic card making spree for a good cause and teamwork too. Your garden looks lovely, all neat and tidy. I've been spending an hour or two in mine but I'm cutting back and pruning a bit before winter arrives. Beautiful orchid, I have three but neither is growing a new flower spike, any tips?

Hugs
Brenda

Oh my, so busy!!
Thanks for stopping by - sorry, I'm late getting back. Seeing the moon in all her splendour must be about the only plus of working nights - you must be exhausted all the time!
Have a fun, crafty week :)

Eliza and Yoda, thanks for visiting me, sorry I am so late coming back. YOur Garden looks very neat and tidy. Do you have 'backyard' in front of the house as well, I know I have seen pictures of houses in Aus and NZ and they have lots of garden all round. It can't be called backyard in teh from can it.
Changing subject, it that all one self heal mat on your desk, it looks about 4 foot by 6 foot, it's huge.
