Gosh this week has gone fast really fast I feel like I have achieved nothing when I had so much planned to tick off my list. Instead I went off on a tangent and started going through those blessed magazines that I have purchased and culled them. I tore out the pages that seemed of interest and chucked the rest. This is the last little pile I have. I never ever throw my Somerset Mags they will get filed with the rest but the others well they are in the firing line. You see I have had a week of serious migraines and and a chest infection so this was all I could manage. Still not the best in health had a CT scan yesterday and I have been paged to the doctors office tomorrow to speak with him, oops that doesn't sound to good does it! Nah everything is ok I still have a brain, yep he told me I have one so there...
So my fellow WOYWWers the desk is boring. Just to prove the other desk isn't cluttered well the shot for that is there too.
Yoda he doesn't want to get out of bed today he
will later I am sure, he waves hi to everyone and
sends Yoda hugs.
Do you want to see more desks then pop on over to Julia's place at The Stamping Ground and join in the best desk hop in the world. So onto the blog hop I go, have a great week, please leave a comment with your link number if you are part of the WOYWWers as this makes it easy to find you when I return your visit.
Hugs to all Eliza & Yoda

Just got up and called in to see you and Yoda to find you have not been well. Sending lots of love and healing thoughts. I know only too well what it is like to have a bad chest and I hope they get it sorted. Please let me know what the doc says tomorrow.
In the meantime you have just been doing something I am always putting off but need to do. One of these days.
Love to Yoda, but for this week you are first to receive love from over here.
Hugs, Neet xx
Hope you get well soon... well done for culling your magazines - I should do the same but can't bring myself to do so... must be brave!
Oh, and I meant to decorate the drawers when i started, but there are too many now... so plain they stay!!Helen 8
I love the photos, but wish you felt better. Migraines are not to be trifled with. I need to cull out my magazines, too. You have the hard part finished, at least.
Get to feeling better, and kiss Yoda from both Bleubeard and me. Happy WOYWW from #10.
Sorry to hear you've not been well. Here's to a speedy recovery so you can get back to crafting , Jill #34

Yoda looks sooo relaxed, bless him! My cat, Daisy sends feline felicitations. I get migraines too so sorry to hear your week has not been great health-wise. I love Somerset magazines! So far I don't have any, I just drool over them in shops - not literally, at least I don't think so! Have a great WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #35

Sorry to hear you're not well, but I hope the Doc can give you something to sort you out quickly. To answer your question (and thanks for your visit) - yes that's a big basket of embroidery floss - not the best way to store floss if you want to find a colour quickly - but I kind of like the look of all the colours jumbled together. Get well soon. MMx #33
Hi Eliza, thanks for swinging by my blog. Sorry to hear that you've been unwell this week. The cull has gone well - go you! Cx #29
I can see why you do not toss a somerset mag, they are $16 in the US I hat to think what they cost down under! I always pass my mags along to crafty friends when I am don so I don't have to feel badly about tossing them in the recycle bin. Hop you find some good ideas to save! Happy WOYWW! Lindsay #20
Sorry you are not well,,hope what he doc has to say sorts it.
Thanks for visiting and Im glad I made you laugh wi my pedicure socks.

I need to follow your lead and send a pile of my magazines to the recycle bin! It is amazing how quickly they pile up.
Hoping your doctor will have a plan to help get you on the mend.
Take care and happy crafting!
Lynn #19
That is exactly what I do--I tear out the pages and toss the magazine, but I keep my Sew Somersets like they are each a craft book! I also have a year of Mary Engelbreit magazines (I don't think she does her mag anymore) and years of Victoria mags from 1990's. Yoda is sooo cute!! My kitties Minnie and Joseph say hi. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #9
It sounds to me like you accomplished a lot, especially under the circumstances!
Thank you for stopping by my blog earlier and for your kind comments.
Happy Woyww,
Sandy #4
Well hope your feeling better soon. And I have to say I loveall the colored draws and what a great window to craft by so very nice. I need to go through my mags. too maybe when I get home I will add it to my list. Have a good day and bright blessings to you and your Roberta 26
Hoping you are feeling better soon, is Yoda coming out in sympathy? He looks so comfy!
Debxx#18
Very neat desk and very impressive organising of magazines...I have a massive pile I need to go through! Sorry to hear you have been poorly and hope you feel better soon. Hugs to Yoda! Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x (#87)
I love how healthy Yoda looks! Speaking of healthy, I'm sorry to hear you have had migraines and a chest infection, Eliza. I know what those migraines are like; so frustrating. I hope you get good news from the doctor in that he can pinpoint what is causing all this AND fix it!! Fingers crossed, hon!!
Happy WOYWW! Thank you for the visit to me and for your good wishes! BTW, good job on culling the mags that take up lots of precious room!! Darnell #16
I do hope the Dr. has good news for you. I have bunches of old magazines to go through, too...tedious work, huh? I usually end up keeping so much from the magazine that I think, why did I bother?! lol Yoda looks like such a happy camper, so glad he has you for a mum now. :) Come by and see the Hello Kitty! cards I've made, now that I've finally gotten linked up! lol I was sooo tired last night for some reason...? Anyways, hugs dear lovely! Deeyll #126
hi
well the mags have to be culled every so often don't they I have a big pile to do soon but WOYWW is more fun so they will have to wait until another day ..... so there LOL
hope it goes well with the Dr.
janet #31
aw chum, sorry to hear that you've been so poorly..a chest infection is the pits, it slows everything down so...get on the mend soon, but take it aaa easy as you can for really a while. Honest, I mean it. and then, get on a plane over here and come sort out my ridiculous, bought, paid for and not looked at magazine habit. How fun that would be.
Hi thanks for stopping by earlier ! Hope you trip to the doctors goes well ! And that you feline companion eventually woke up to keep you company ! Ali #30
I had a big cull of magazines a while back its hard to let go at times, so you are doing a great job....lol. I hope you are feeling better soon, and perhaps the colder weather the past few days and the fact you haven't been well is why Yoda is staying in bed a bit longer as he is going out in sympathy with you. Maybe too he's giving you a hint as to where you should be....take care and have a great week! Danie #17.
Happy WOYWW! Feel better, Your puddy cat looks so sweet and sleepy! Love your storage boxes!
-Tera #124
Hello Eliza. Trust you will know God's peace as you go to the Dr tomorrow - always a bit concerning when THEY call YOU, isn't it? Take care - rest up - feet up for a day or two!
Margaret #55
I have SO MANY old mags, but I do refer back to them again and again - just pulling one off the shelfa nd flipping thru it sometimes sends me off on a project I never would have. So I keep them. But the shelves are groaning so a cull may be in order :)
Happy (better late than never) WOYWW!
Mary Anne (27)
Sorry to be late to play. Hope you are feeling better. I'm struggling with lower back issues and hardly able to move. Take care....love your space and Yoda is adorable!
Hope you are feeling better! I give you credit for going through those magazines! I live in a Manhattan apt. so when it's time to purge, I put the magazines in the lobby. Hoping someone else can enjoy them!
So sorry you aren't feeling well Eliza! Get plenty of rest and use Yoda to keep your spirits up!!
I have been in Somerset and The Stampers' Sampler and Take 10 and even the ones I am not in I would NEVER throw away!! They are like a beautiful, thick book of awesomeness!! The others, like you I have no trouble tossing!
Tell Yoda he is looking quite handsome in that picture!!
xxDaniella#13
Well I'm glad you're okay, but yikes, that sounds awful, doesn't it? Migraines really take it out of a person, and they're just so inconvenient, always when we have plans to DO something . . .
(Thankfully I don't have to move MY stuff, that would be a mess, we're moving our shop, so not as bad as cleaning out a whole house!)
Thank you for stopping by this woyww, Eliza-give Yoda a scratch under the chin for me when he gets up!

I used to keep all my mags too... but last time I was at home I culled the lot (keeping only those I was published in out of some silly vanity) but its a great way to work through not feeling well, hope you are in better form now. Apologies for my late arrival of doing the round of WOYWW desks! Annette #6
