WOYWW 219

Some fantastic projects accomplished this week, gosh have I been busy.  First and foremost my new addition to the desk.  I have another set of drawers they are the cutest set ever and well needed.  Gosh, 'not more some of you are saying' but these are perfect, perfect for storing my double sided foam tapes that were living in a container being passed around the room.  One minute the container would be put away and the next it was on my desk doing a task, you know the drill, you probably have the same problem.  A very dear friend of mine made this little drawer set for me,  all I had to do was decorate it, bonus ha! Of course I decorated them in the already paper scheme 'Lush by KaiserCraft' that I had on the desk, thank goodness I purchased extra papers for these type of occasions.  So what do you think, brilliant ha?

If you want to see more about the little drawers then go and see the former post about it, you will get more photos.

Then I got to and made up some note card sets.  Yep been busy, told you....

As you can see there are some of the cat one from last week, it still needs some fine tuning, not sure what to put on them.  One part of the paper had the cat on it and the other the bird houses, cute.... the matching cloud paper was used to decorate the front of the envelope, I like that touch.  The envelopes were made using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Maker.

Then there is the second set of notelets that I made using the Lush paper by KaiserCraft the same paper as used on the drawers.  I really don't like wasting paper and I have so many of these little paper pads and 12 x 12 papers due to getting them from the Kaiser outlet cheap.  What better way to use them up.  I think I will be making some more sets from this paper.

Of course there is the stuff on the desk that you don't see to the side.  Yes I am not infallible I do make a mess when I am crafting.  This is where I do most of my cutting and storing of goods when working.  So for the eager eyed crafter's out there, really I am just like you.

Last but not least this post wouldn't be completed without the compulsory photo of the little man YODA

Here he is in his bed next to my computer, he is never to far away from me, a great companion.

Sorry about the long post, so much has gone on this week.  I have also had all sorts of difficulty with the blog uploads can you believe I have been working on this post all night!  If you want to see more desks then hop on over to Julia's place and surf the net and visit to your heart is content, oh make sure you have some refreshments at hand.  Hope to see you around.  Please if you leave a comment and you are from WOYWW please leave your link number, otherwise it is really hard to find you.  Again thanks for visiting.

Hugs Eliza & Yoda

Those drawers look like they came from the company my friend Annette got hers from. The instructions were horrible for putting them together, but you obviously didn't have to do that.

Yoda looks either really tired, or slightly bored. Nice of you to share his cute face, though.

Happy WOYWW from #1.

So much delightfulness happening here, Eliza! Delightful drawers and decorations and card sets and space sharing and Yoda! Well done! At first glance, Yoda looked like a miniature cat in a teacup! Perhaps it's time for me to head for bed!! Happy WOYWW and have a wonderful week! Darnell #19

I love the decorated drawers, what caught my eye and intrigued me... the cows. So I zoomed in and it appears to be a table cloth? My mom and I purchase cows throughout the year and then give them to each other one day at a time every year on our beach retreat in the summer. Love it. Kim 26

Those drawers are fabulous, the papers you used are perfect. I wish they had things like that over here. All you see are the clear plastic ones. I can't believe you even make your own envelopes, that's so clever and the cards & notelets are fantastic.
You certainly did a lot of crafting.
Have a great week.

That's a lovely photograph of your little man. Obligatory tickle under the chin from me please.
Love your drawers and your cards, the bird house looks kind of cute and i do like cats so obviously loved those. Now what are all the little bits in the foreground on your desk shot no 2? I enlarged but still could not make them out, mind you I have just tumbled out of bed.
Love to you and your furry babes (esp Yoda) xxxxx

The drawers are adorable, as are those notelet sets, would be a great gift to receive.

Always nice to see Yoda, takes up less space than the huge Labrador that assists me in my room.

Those sets of drawers look SO cute! They look really nice on your desk. The Tombows were on a sale table at my nearest craft shop (Bella Vista, Sydney). They were obviously getting rid of their entire stock so I just bought a lot of colours that I might (one day) use for Stampscaping. I think they are going into Copics in a big way (but I refuse to pay those silly prices for more pens!)
Oh, and I know how very bad the winds are at the moment, as we were at the Snowy Mountains last weekend, skiing in about 50km/hr winds! Rather unnerving!
Thanks for your kind comment re the bird book.

My goodness Eliza, you have been busy but your desk remains so tidy...amazing! ;D
I love those drawers. They would be so useful for so many different things.
I haven't entered WOYWW this week due to our 'Escape to the Country' still taking most of my time. But I thought I'd nip and visit everyone else's desks! I can never seem to do it all...drawing, photographs, posting and then visiting everyone. Good plan eh?
Yoda looks like an adoring fan ^..^
Aren't we lucky to have these wonderful companions to share our life.
Enjoy your week and desk hopping.
Happy WOYWW :D

Hi Eliza!

Wow, the drawers are amazing. I love little organizational products. You sure have been busy. In my dreams, I could complete that much crafting in a week. My boys are home for summer break and constantly interrupt me until I throw in the towel.

Thanks sharing all your goodies and for visiting my blog!

Have a blessed day!

Love that paper and the drawer unit looks fabulous! Your note cards and cards are wonderful, though I know what you mean about feeling like they need something else...happens to me all the time! I have to set the thing aside and wait until inspiration hits. So are you completely in love with your envelope maker? I've been thinking I want one so I was wondering what someone who actually has one and has used it thinks of it...anyways, have a wonderful WOYWW and thank you so much for leaving me a sweet comment already...but you should know, and I hope we can still be friends, my toilet seat lid is always up! lol :) Hugs!
