WOYWW 202

I am in the process of creating a journal page, painted the background, dribbled paint down the length of it, love this effect, pasted some impasto on and I am now creating some butterflies for the top.  So the good news is I have been playing, yippee, not as much as I have wanted to play but I have been playing.  I also created during the week a card. (see post on periwinkle card)  Oh and I have assembled this cute little stand with some KaiserCraft paper called Lily to make this little book stand but I am going to use it for cards to take photos on, just something different.  Lily is the same paper that I used on my drawers and craft stand that is on my desk, everything matches LOL.  As you can see there is another stand to be assembled and covered, this will be done in a different paper.

Ah and now onto the little man, can you see him hiding under the blanket?  He has this really soft and fluffy flat dog pillow that is on his chair and this he sleeps on, when he is not sleeping on us LOL.  He also loves to snuggle under the blanket and this is what he is doing now.  The weather is a tad on the cooler side today and he really doesn't have much hair.  His coat is rather patchy, Yep he is a hair cat LOL  Although I did disturb his sleep taking this photo.

As you can see here in this photo, but not for long, he just checked out what the shutter sound was, popped his little head out then realised that he could go back to sleep.  He is so cute and beautiful.

If you want to see other desks then pop on over to the Stamping Ground, I suggest you grab a cuppa first and then visit everyone you can.  Please leave a comment, I love them, with your link number to make it easier for me to find you and return the visit.  If you do visit me, I will come and visit you it is the right thing to do.

Must be off I have desks to visit and giggle over and oh and ahh, some of the desks are amazing.  I saw yesterday a desk that is usually so messy that is so clean, neat and tidy now that I am still in shock, no names mentioned, this is what happens, desks change all the time, people learn things and see other things that they like, all total fun.

bye for now
Yoda & Eliza

Yes, you have it in a nutshell - "he is so darned cute" and my week would not be the same without a picture of him to look at. Would love to come and give him a hug (gentle of course).
Now where were we, ah yes, journalling. Glad that you have got some crafting under your belt and look forward to seeing your journal page revealed when it is complete.
I have one of those stands and it needs decorating - maybe you will have spurred me on (but for the darned workshop prep I need to do).
Thanks for visiting me - Hugs, Neet xx (and for Yoda xx) (and for the other furries xx)

Lovely. I too am loving pretty storage. My stuff is in old laundry pod tubs, in many cases, and when I see PRETTY storage I just get consumed with envy....but not bad enough to actually make me DO anything about it :) One day....

Those stands are really clever!! They look ever so complicated to me....but then I'm a klutz when it comes to anything involving paper!! The Lily paper is beautiful, I can see why it's a recurrent theme for you.
Yoda is soooo snugly, bless him :)

We bought a pipette for dribbling paint down art journal pages but we didn't dilute the paint enough and had clumps instead.

Hello Yoda peeking out of your hidey hole.

Oh, and Horace blogged on Monday so he's resting today, :)

Hi Eliza
I'm running late but thanks for stopping by my desk. My guest has arrived early and is staying in my art room so no WOYWW for me next week. Love the little stands...I shall have to have a look for them in Spotlight next time I go to town. Love the card too. Hope we get to see your journal page next week :o). Eliza your room is larger then mine and full of tresures...I loved being in there so much...even thinking about it makes me smile. You are always welcome here in my art room Eliza though I think my lack of organization to your tidy room would drive you nuts LOL

Oh little Yoda is cute. He definitely has a wonderful place to snuggle in!

Your stands are great! I love the papers so am glad that you said what they are (hmm, must go back and read because I've already forgotten). They will be a great way to display your favorite cards and take photos.

I'm finally getting around. My ISP upgraded some software and that caused a delay - but I'm here!!!!

Thanks for visiting me.

Happy WOYWW
