WOYWW 184

It is definitely Christmas in the air at my house, but first a shot of Yoda being naughty, he is sitting on the dining room table of all places.  He Thought he was cute. LOL  He found the empty box and thought he could put it to good use.  Not appropriate but still cute, how could I get mad at him when you look at him this way.  Can you hear him saying "but mummy i thought it was put there for me"

Oh and Charlie my handsome man in his Santa hat.  He was such a good boy to wear his hat most of the day.

Now onto my desk, finished some of the cards that were left over and yes the white bundle that was sitting on my desk last week has been completed.  Also on the desk is a beautiful Christmas Card from Sandy at Lonely Cards http://lonelycards.blogspot.com.au/ thanks a bunch it is really beautiful and hand delivered to my work.  The little bird and cage comes out of the card and will be hung on my tree on my desk.  Vicki the tree is on the left side with other stuff hanging on it.  Its been there all along, special stuff gets hung on it and yours qualifies 100%.  We caught up last week for coffee and a chat it was good to sit and chat a little while and enjoy the environment.

Also on my desk is this cute little critter that holds pencils, it was made from timber and holes drilled in it to hold the pencils.  A disabled client through the charity group gave it to me for my birthday that is next week.

Anyway that is me for this week, want to see more desks then pop over to Julia's place called the Stamping Ground, tour the world, visit some really fabulous people with some totally interesting stuff to show.  It might be good to grab a cuppa of what ever you drink before you start.

Merry Christmas to all
Eliza

Yes it was so lovely to catch up.. We had the perfect weather for it and the gardens where just a picture.. I am using a few of your lovely flowers and made my first little pinecone from one of the dies you gave me.. Had to look at Tim Holtz video to see how to make it, think I got it.. Your pencil holder is really cute there looking at you.. I see the tree too now, glad you like my little ornament..
I have a little Santa jacket and hat for my cat will try to get him to wear it to get a photo, wish me luck with that lol..
Charlie looks very flash in his Santa hat.. Yoda does look very pleased with himself there in the box but empty boxes are such a draw for cats aren't they..
Happy WOYWW
Sandy :)

What lovely pictures of your pets! Nice that you had a catch up with a friend too - I did that last night too and we also had a nice a play with a melting pot! I am not joining in WOYWW this week as I am planning on actually trying to get something done this week! Still not much sunshine here and its gone very cold this week. Brrrrr.

It's an empty box, so of course a cat is going to sit in it. It's the same in our house, except the fule applies to carrier bags, tuba cases, bin liners etc etc!!! It's just great to see him cheeky enough to do it - well done you (x100!!) for giving him this new lease of life. The good karma will be repaid one day :)

Of course Yoda is cute & was that box NOT put there just for him? I saw a post of FB the other day "how to catch a cat" it was an empty box followed by 3 pictures...with each picture there was another cat in the box! Too cute. And Charlie is lovely in his hat! Love your pencil holder!

Happy Belated WOYWW. Thanks for visiting my workspace yesterday. Firstly - the cows - they were bought from Craftuprint. Can't remember which designer, but just search for cows and they should come up (along with loads of cute designs). Your desk looks so sunny and bright. Yoda in the box, and your gorgeous dog in his hat - both made me smile. Ali x #20

Hi Eliza!

You are lucky to live in a warm place although I can't imagine Christmas being warm! We are use to the cold as we live under the Alps! Yoda is really cute and Charlie is a right star!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian

Thanks for the visit and letting me snoop your space. Pretty neat desk I like the window light. You've got bunch of pencils within easy reach.

Oh the red shoe...A friend asked for a book mark with high heels.

I printed and cut the shoe several times gluing 3 or 4 layers. Then a thick layer of glossy accents. After it dried I used a screw punch to make a whole to thread ribbon through. You're a good snooper.

Awwww your pets are sooo cute! I love the desk too! Thanks for leaving a comment on my WOYWW - Sorry it has taken me a while to come along to your blog! xxxxxxxxx

Oh Eliza, how winsome can you get!! Yoda looks so adorable, and "butter wouldn't melt" in that box - he's just like Beatrice, who has to get into absolutely everything! she's always rootling around in the waste paper basket, sitting in the washing bucket etc. If she can get hold of a cardboard box she'll chew it to shreds too! When they look at you like that, you just can't tell them off, can you!

I'm terribly behind with WOYWW this week too and have hardly visited any... Thanks for your 2 lovely comments, and I'm so glad you enjoyed my bit of photo editing! I don't do as much of that as I'd like. Also, your other comment about Sheba, my Cougar, was soooo encouraging - what with my health being rubbish all year, and all the probs with my elderly parents lately, I havent' done nearly as much as I wanted and still feel a complete novice on the machine, despite having had it for a year now!! I am hoping to get going a bit better with it next year, as there's so much more that it can do, that I have yet to learn.

Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #69

Smiling at your cat and dog. Cat being bad but pretending to be innocent. Dog being good by wearing his hat for you. Thanks for popping over to visit me! ~ Laura

You have two very sweet helpers. I give Charlie a big hug, my two dogs would never wear a hat, though we've tried. Kids and Kitties have something in common...an empty box becomes a treasured gift. Sending love from our family to your family. Thank you so much for the kind comment about Skyler's card, she is such a sweet little girl and she LOVES to craft.

Your cards look so lovely. The ornaments - beautiful. Can't believe Charlie left the hat on. What a good dog! Yoda does look cute in the box. Ditto must be in hiding.
