WOYWW 183

First and foremost I must apologise to all that visited me this last week a few I managed to get back to but many I did not.  I promise I will get back to you I just have not had the time.  Again Sorry please forgive me.  I am still working on site with the Bake Off and it is full on, this week I have added to my load my Charity Hamper work and believe me it was all stations full steam ahead yesterday.  I had a wonderful bunch of volunteers come and help out they work for Connect East, the ones that link the highways and charge a toll.  LOL  Well they didn't charge me yesterday they worked for me for free and really hard too.  My desk did get a few things sorted out, the cards for the volunteers all sorted and gone, I found a few left over and thought I will finish them and use them.  (This is as far as they got, then I fell asleep)  I think 4 hours sleep a day is not good, even when you want to play......

So my desk this week........

Yes that is the sun coming up, sorry the light had to be on as it is really early here in Australia.

Now the hamper packing at the charity group

Some of the packed hampers and a few shots of some connect east staff helping.  Once they finished all the hampers they helped me unpack the toys and get them ready for distribution today with the hampers.   So all in all there was over 380 hampers packed and a mountain of toys and some gifts for older people.  Mammoth days effort, unfortunately I went home lay-ed down and was in a coma in seconds, now I am off there again today to distribute them to the agencies that have requested.   I will have to make more as the year comes to a close because there are always the extras but I am nearly there  Big day today too...

Sorry no shots of my furry friends, Yoda is asleep with dad and didn't want to get up for breakfast,
charlie is crashed in the hall, Ditto and Tommy the other cats don't want their photo taken, so animal free blogging today.

Want to see some exciting desks with far more interest than mine, most likely with art or crafts, sewing and goodness knows what on them, then pop on over to the Stamping Ground where the Queen of blog land hosts this wonderful blog of blog hops.  You are truly wonderful Julia and thank you for all you do to make so many people happy and connected throughout the world.

Hugs and happy crafting to all this week.
Eliza

There are some wonderful charity projects at this time of year and it's good to see what you are doing. Take it easy and don't burn out doing too much even if it is worthwhile!
Jo x thanks for finding time to visit

It's so fantastic you're doing all that work for charity, and you should definitely be forgiven if your WOYWW visiting duties suffer slightly as a result!! Lovely looking workdesk with those trees right there outside the window... Happy WOYWW!

Sounds like you are uber busy and I know I couldn't exist on a mere 4 hours of sleep on a reg ular basis! Try not to overdo it and take care of yourself along the way! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

You are amazing super woman...no wonder you can become comatose in an instant of lying down! The hampers and helpers are fantastic...I hope you've taken time to be a little bit proud of yourself.

That is one seriously mammoth project! I'm so happy for you though that you have the time, or rather make the time to serve the needy. I'm sure it takes a lot out of you, physically, but if I were a betting woman I would bet it gives you back so much more emotionally and mentally than it takes. Hope you get to catch up on your sleep and playtime soon though! :) I'm off to play now myself...Deeyll #the last one! Its been that kind of day... :)
