Workdesk Wednesday when all the girls come out to play, show and tell their stuff and with great thanks to the Mistress of the Manor (it goes with this weeks theme) Mrs Dunnit, yep she started this craze, want to know more, skip on over here and check it out, tour the world. Believe me when i say it is addictive, so be warned, oh and it might be a good idea to grab a cuppa.
SO ONTO MY DESK
I have been working some horrendous hours and some of it has been so difficult, no only kidding... LOL I have had heaps of hours of work, but and here is the but, these have been at stages capable of getting some craft done whilst there, yep go to work and get paid to craft, bonus being the boss ha.... My working hours have included night stuff (when doesn't it?) when it was so, so quiet that I really got stuck into some serious card production. Nope I did not at any point get bored with the same card or monotony of it.
So all 90 cards are completed on the front and back just waiting on the words for the inside which have to be written by the President of the Charity Group.
As you can see, the cards all laid out on the table, this table is in one of the production huts that have not been set up yet. I think it is going to be used for makeup at some stage.... LOL You can see through the window that it is really dark outside, I about 3 in the morning, impressive ha, all the cards lined up. I added stickles to the image and they all had to dry, it has made a world of difference to the stamp.
Now onto some pleasant stuff, this is the environment that I am working in until just before Christmas. This place is called Werribee Mansion it is really beautiful, (hard to take surroundings and environment) the buildings were build in the 1800s the grounds are extensive and just breath taking in places. The is the view immediately in front of our broadcasting marquis. The marquis are still being constructed but should be near completion by tonight, more for you on that later.

Just some of the garden, some really pretty plants that I have no idea of their names.

In the grounds are some truly beautiful plants and animals. I have managed to snaffle a few shots of the bunnies eating their breakfast, they were about 10 metres from me, also there are these most incredible birds, although trying to get a decent photo of these has become somewhat of a challenge, they keep skittering around and don't stay still long enough for me to get a good shot. Sorry about the poor quality, but believe me, it really was a challenge.

Wow - the number of those cards - and all the same - I have never done 2 cards the same so that would be a challenge for me! The location where you are doing the show is amazing and so is the nature - love that bird - Australia really has such lovely colorful birds...
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian

Wow! You deserve a medal for all those cards! I lose interest after about half a dozen all the same. I once did about twenty pages (A5) for a swap and I vowed never again. We used to have blue wrens in the garden but I haven't seen one for ages. Happy late WOYWW.
Hi Eliza I hope you are enjoying your shooting in this stunning loco!!As for the eggtrays on my desk...I have this product called Powertex, it looks like white glue, but once dry it hardens fabric or paper and it is completely waterproof....I had cut flowers from crinkled satin with my Tattered Florals die and i was giving them a cup shape..in fact people use it to make kitch fabric sculptures!!
Have a good week xxx
I love the pictures, that Blue Wren looks like he has a beautiful plumage, I agree that it is ard to get a good picture of them. Now, I am AMAZED at the card production, you are my hero! lol I could never make 90 of the same card! Truly impressed! I had a giggle at your saying that you write notes to the childern on the TP paper, that is awesome, and many parents should know about that little trick!! HA! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
