WOYWW 172

Yes it is that time of week again when we show our shame at how messy we can be when playing with our toys.  No these are not the average dinky toys but serious toys to the ones that use them.  OK we play with paper, card, glue, scissors canvas and other stuff.  Someone on here actually played with the core cardboard in the toilet rolls and made a book out of them.  I kid you not.

So without further ado my desk......

For those that have come to look out my window I now have beautiful Orange Clivia's flowering they are just beyond the tree that you have all loved in flower for ages, it is still flowering too by the way.

Now the desk I found some stuff I had tucked away in a basket, when cleaning up the other day.  New stamps that are old now, still on the desk.   I dropped into a coffee shop the other day for a chat with a work client and fell in love with the sugar dispencer and asked where they got them from, so I could get a few, had an idea rumbling in the head, you know what it is like.  Next thing they say take the bottle with you, you can have it, how nice is that.  So it is still on my desk including the sugar in it.  It is a baby milk bottle, I mean a small version of the old fashioned milk bottles we used to get when I was a child.  Also is some paper from the card required in a hurry last week, my mini embossing tray, Queen Julia was only talking about these the other day in a post on Unsung Desk Heros,  ink refresher and most of all pain killers for the headaches and body aches.  Everything was just abandoned when I did a runner for work, If you want to know what on, please visit my former post there are some trully amazing photos of the venue I was working at.  I don't want to get in trouble this week from Queen Julia over at the Stamping Ground Blogspot for a long post. I don't think she will get upset but I don't want to push my boundries.  Want to know more then visit there too and find out why.

Oh and even with all the frantic work I managed to visit everyone on the list, yep did it mostly while in down time at work and before Sunday Night. Woooo Hoooo None the less everyone got a comment left on their blogs except one or two that the links didn't work properly.  I went from being 93 to 88, Julia did do some fixing along the way and I was glad to be getting younger.  I know it is hard to get around to everyone, but it is nice to get some replies, to be honest I thought I would get more considering how many I visited.  It goes to show that people are really busy and just cant reply sometimes. So those who did reply I thank you so very much.

Now as for the Whale whos real name by the original owners was 'Spike' what a crappy name.  We have renamed him because a dear friend said Whale was to offensive for him and she was right, well we have renamed him YODA like Yoda from Star Wars I do believe you can see why....  LOL That's if you have seen the movies. Yoda is doing great still loosing weight.  He looks so soft and fuffy and loved enjoying the light from the window, he also cant resist a good cuddle.

Happy Crafting and Happy WOYWW

As soon as I saw that bottle, I said, Hmm, old school milk bottle, and sure enough, that's exactly what it is! Kinda cute.
So glad your new kitty is improving and his new name suits him very well. (Wasn't too keen on the previous ones.) Happy WOYWW, RosA # 38
(oh, and clivias all over the place here too)

Most definately looks more like Yoda than a whale. LOL Love your crafting space. I have a pot full of Clivias flowering just outside my front door. The pot used to belong to my late father, so every time I walk out in Spring and see the flowers, I say hallo dad. My family thinks I am weird, but I don't care, From that plant I have managed to have a flowerbed full of Clivias.
I did not get to visit last week, so sorry, but I am here now, hope that makes up for it.
Happy WOYWW!

Wow, that must've taken you ages, I've never managed to get round everyone, well done you.
Love all the interesting things you have on your desk and outside your window too. I'd never get anything done with such lovely plants to admire.
The sugar bottle sounds intriguing, what are you going to do with it??

LOL that whale is offensive :)
I didn't think of that, but I guess when she puts it that way :)

I love Yoda though! I am such a Star Wars fan so it's a great name.

And I really love your space with all of that gorgeous natural light!

Yoohoo, Yoda - you're lookin' good, kitty. The diet regime is obviously working wonders! Wish it would work for me....

Love the beautiful buildings in your previous post, so elegant. How lovely to be working there and not around the back of some film lot somewhere!!

Haopy new name, Yoda, you're looking good. If we had that view from the window we'd never get anything done for staring at the lovely view.

So where is this bottle you are talking about? I love those old fashioned milk bottles, never had the priviledge to grow up with one living in Fiji but I still love them. That is some fog outside your window, never knew there was fog in Melbourne I am used to fog here now

Yoda,(I like "the whale" better) looks fit as a fiddle! I agree, spike is a crappy name. Whatever his name, he is an even newer cat this week, and I love the progress report! Getting that little bottle/sugar dispenser is so nice! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

PS the video was awesome!!!

Yoda is looking so much better, I'm sure he is pleased as punch to be in his new home. Your desk is looking like you've been getting at least *some* crafting in! :) I notice you have two of those refillable ink blending pens. Have you got those figured out? I have two and I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do with them, even though I've watched the videos! Anyways, the little old milk bottle is adorable and that was so kind of them to let you take it. I don't know how you managed to make it to all the blogs last week, I never have yet! But good on you. :) Hope you get to mess your desk up some more soon! Hugs, Deeyll
