Exhibition Buildings Melbourne

This is the Exhibition Buildings and you have never seen before and for sure a very different view, I do hope you enjoy the pictures that have been shown, sorry there is not more......  So enjoy............

Entrance at one end

Yesterday was the Broadcast for the All Stars AFL (Australia Football League) Of The Year Awards and they were held in one of the most beautiful buildings in Melbourne.  ( in my opinion ) The Exhibition Building which is located in Carlton.

Another Entrance

Side

Beautiful Lamps grace the entrances on either side

The Architectue in this bulding is absolutely amazing, everywhere you look there is another masterpiece of workmanship

Wing of the main area

Modern Technology added to the beautiful
and ornate arches.

This is the inside of the building through the course of the day and night, it started off empty then it gradually changed into the most beautiful night in AFL's history.  (again my opinion)

On Arches in corners there were all the
amazing pieces of art hand painted

I was limited in time as to what I could take
photos of after all I was there to work and not play

Everywhere I looked there was more to see I just wanted to ohh and ahh all day.
Then the serious decorating and assemblage of stages started and the whole place changed
into the most incredible event.

This is the main hall that was all just floorboards and space now
filled to look totally magical and yes it was really pink.

More behind the scenes stuff

This is my life at this time of year, been to most of the games, worked hard and now this is the end of season stuff, mind you this has just started my calendar for the next 2 weeks is full.  I hope you have enjoyed the photos especially of the architectre and art.
