YOO HOO - OWLS

I don't like cute or is it maybe my tastes are changing, goodness knows.  I have had this stamp for ages and it is one of the very few that is still on it's block, not really sure why.  I got it from a shop down the coast from Melbourne the town is Mornington and the shop is called Paper2 saying it like paper squared.  The stamp is a Victoria Secret stamp called Curly Owl VK-255

I also managed recently to find this paper pad 12 x 12 size called Sweet Owl and in it was all sorts of owl paper.  Some glittered also some that was co-ordinating and double sided, all in browns, white and pinks.  Pink is not a color that I use a lot of,  it is a bit cute for me too, but for some reason it really appealed to me this time.

I have made 3 different cards with the paper pad paper all the same style, but paper different.  The inside of the card has been decorated as well, because it is seen when standing in it's trestle style as shown below.  I think this trestle style has to be my most favored style of them all.

I have double mounted the Owl and paper pierced him as well then put some Dimensional Magic on his eyes that were double mounted, I coloured in the swirls with a Jelly Roll pen.  I so love this card that I have found some more paper that I might make some more with.  It is sweet and simple, which is good.

Thanks for looking.
Eliza

Very cute owl! I really like the way the heat embossing makes it dimensional -- goes well with the paper. You're smart to make tons of cards when something strikes your fancy -- they always come in handy and then you feel so clever having done it. Happy WOYWW from Laura #126 (Thanks for visiting my blog already.)

Great cards - I'm very partial to that colour scheme of pink and brown - I think the brown makes the pink more grown-up! Thanks for visiting my desk - I'm not really sure what I'm looking for for the last two slots on my printers tray but I'll know when I see them!
Have a great week
