My desk this week has had some productivity on it, in the way of crafting and then everything went to hell. Thank God for laptops, seriously I really needed mine this week. Also thank God I am a strong believer in backups and I am borderline paranoid with backups to the extreeme of backing up backups, LOL and it has paid off. I didn't loose anything, I am so proud of myself. Contrary to what others do and say.....
So both desks are piled high with crap because of the disaster. If you are wondering why I am saying all this, yes it is because of the weekly desk hop, where people from all parts spy, peek, google with the eyes and ooh and aah at others spaces and desks. Warning some are really tidy and look like they have never been used at all (the neet freeks) and then there are the really creative down to earth, get your hands and everything else around you dirty, the second type is the type I love, some people don't even have time to clean because creativity gets in the way and good on you girls, whoops, we even have a boys (men)out there (Hi Mark). I also have to add (Neil) to the mix, (after I was reminded by Mark that he was not the only one) so, so sorry Neil and thanks Mark, I don't like making big mistakes like that. I do hope you forgive me. Such great work the both of them do too.
This is my creating desk with everything thrown on it and the ever reliable laptop and saviour. I really did give my laptop a huge hug to say thanks. LOL
Oh and about the Aniversary ATC Swap, I am not participating in the ATC swap, there are many reasons for this and I am truly sorry, but I just can't. I will explain that in another post, just not now.
So grab a cuppa or two and get on over to the Stamping Ground and blog hop your way around the world, it really is a growing trend and slightly addictive I have to admit. I managed to get around to just about everyones except about 25 people, sorry people, I did have issues of my own. I will try and do more this week. So with all the above been said, off you go and check out the world.
Thanks for looking and also thankyou for your lovely comments they really mean a lot to me. Also when leaving a comment can you please add your post number, this makes life so much easier to find you and return the honor.

What a nightmare you've been having and yet you still blogged, bless you and your determination! You've done so well to fix your PC and rescue your work. Migraines are so troublesome and can get in the way of everything, I empathise and truly hope it's easing off and giving you a break. Desk looks busy and organised. Hope you feel better soon. Thank u for stopping by my desk last wk, much appreciated. I've not managed to post today :( have not been able to be creative recently due to pesky migraines and other annoying things! Hoping to spend some time colouring in a stamp tomorrow :) Take care, sending creative vibes, Angel Greetings xx

hi, happy woyww, thanks for stopping by earlier. I had the whole comp death thing last week, what a pain in the arse, at least you backed up your stuff.
hope next week is better ;)
oh am not the only guy, There is the very talented Niel Walker who has been around for a while, a lot longer than me lol
Oh gosh it sounds like you've been through the mill! Hope migrane is getting better- I used to get awful ones. I wouldn't have a clue what to do if my computer packed up - but I have a son who does. Phew. Happy WOYWW and thanks for viiting me. Anne x
Sorry you've had a bad week, hope things look up soon. Love the desk though, loads to look at! Helen, 8
Oh dear... I so hate it when one of the computers goes wrong (we have several... geek city is here...). Our "new" desktop has never behaved well in the few months we have had it. It throws regular tantrums because it doesn't like to talk to its monitor. Will have to get it sorted!
Kudos in spadefuls, to you, for DIY fixing your pc - especially as it involved dismantling and reassembly. Brave! Good on ya!
I hope the evil migraine has receded. I had one yesterday too, but not bad... result of manipulation - of the gentlest kind - by my osteopath, to sort out my siezed up kneck muscles. Then we had a thunderstorm, which always gives me a screaming headache. Today I am fine - I hope it is the same for you; you have my sympathy!
Hopefully you'll soon be back in Creative Mode?
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your friendly comment!

Oh Eliza! I am sorry that happened to you!! But I'm glad to see you are in "recovery" now!! What a mess!!
And speaking of messes, I am the messy crafter who is always looking under piles of stuff for that one thing I am missing. It is missing because I keep piling stuff up in every available area!! Dirty crafter am I!!
Happy WOYWW!

I forgot, #133!!

Wow! What a time you've been having. I would never attempt major computer surgery while having a migraine so extra kudos to you. I am not a neat freak crafter, nor do I play one on TV, but I do clean up often. My brain gets cluttered when my desk is cluttered.
Hi there.
What a bummer of a week.... :( Am glad that you've performed surgery on the PC - sincere congrats for that cos I wouldn't have a clue!
Hopefully the migraine has gone by now - my DH gets them (fortunately rarely) but his vision goes and he can't speak, it really is frightening. It sounds like you need a LOT of TLC so am sending big hugs through Cyberspace to you....
Love, LLJ #65 xx
So impressed that you are able to rebuild your computer! We had ours cleaned last fall but we paid for it....even then it was a hassle. Thanks for visiting this WOYWW. Jan #158
Eliza! Oh yes I am impressed that you do your own surgery on the computer bodies. Really really impressed. I love your attitude and I can see that your work space is a center of creative genius. Loved visiting it today! *smiles* Norma
I am in awe of you, you are a computer genius :) I am proud that I just learned that I can get to a link by highlighting it and clicking "go to link" instead of copy & pasting it, lol.
Thanks for visiting me, I was # 177
So sorry that you've had a difficult week. It is not fun having a computer go done on you! I'm impressed that you are doing it all yourself. I'm not that techno savy! Hope everything starts to come together for you! Enjoyed reading your blog! Thanks so much for visiting my site and leaving a comment! Valerie #174
Well done on saving your computer. I always back up mine too. Thanks for visiting.
Carol
Hi Eliza . . . sounds like a rough week but that you are coping and pulling through. You Go Girl!
Congrats on being paranoid about backing up . . .it seems to have paid off.
Hugs, Sarn #56
hope you fool better soon (((hug))) clever you for backing up. cat on knee so hard to type. Sandy :) #70
Oh, my. That is some serious stuff on your desk. Thank you for visiting my desk this week. I shall post the behind the scenes mess from now on. That's what folks seem to enjoy seeing...not just the work in progress. Charlotte #165.
Hi Eliza, I have to say I too have pondered over what was in the coke bottle, silly me thought it must be some sort of crafting mixative or the like (though I did think that could be a bit dangerous)lol. The explanation is so much better, how neat to have your own name on the bottle. If they do this in England I would get one for my son he is a cola addict.Love your Owl card and the papers.
Hugs

Wow, to be able to fix a computer like that! I'm in awe!
I'm with you in the department of "liking messy desks". It's fun to enlarge the photos and get a close look at all of that fascinating stuff! Hope you're headache is better and you're back to crafting!

Thanks for your visit to my desk, our router seems to have had the same sort of fit, current one dies, DH re-installs old one whilst awaiting new one, then he had to install new one! What a palarva! BJ#35
What a naughty comuter, putting you though all that and how clever are you fixing it.
Hope you can get back to your desk for fun things soon.
Happy 3rd anniversary.
Von
My computer is still not fixed ...if it ever will be....love your owls above ....Happy 3rd woyww birthday.
I am sending my sympathy for the computer crash. YIKES !! Glad you have a pinch hitter !!
You do sound a bit overwhelmed, I too have been busy so am stopping by late. I enjoyed the coke post,
{Have daughters that would never find their name either} I have a collection of coke items from the past.
Thanks for stopping in and here's to next Wednesday !!
Sorry to hear you've had such a bad week, and well done managing to get on WOYWW in spite of everything!

Someday I will send you a private pic of my extremely-disastrous-never-pictured corner of my craft cave! You will never think of me as neat again, if you ever did. ;) Thanks for stopping by and seeing my workspace...just you wait 'til next week, it's going to be truly messy! I can already tell I am not in the cleaning mood these days, just the creating one. lol And I have to agree with the clever on you comments for being able to disassemble and reassemble your computer, very clever indeed!

I hope your week is much better girlie! Loved my snoop. Also got a big kick out of your Coke bottle and enjoyed your caged ATC's as well!
Ach, sounds like you had a week and a half, hope things have calmed down for you now, but well done being able to fix all of that yourself. The camping weekend was a lot of fun, got two more planned for this month! And yes, I make a few Christmas cards here and there all year, not such a big panic nearer the time! Thanks for popping in.
Hugs
Brenda
Hi ELiza!
Sorry to be so late getting round this week - the Queen's Jubilee got in the way!
Sorry to hear about your computer woes, but well done you for being able to do something about it, and for being so good with your backups. Something I fail epically with, and must do something about.
Happy WOYWW, thanks for stopping by.
So sorry to hear about your computer troubles but yay you for backing up and for not losing anything! That must be a huge relief!
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog and happy WOYWW anniversary!
