Wedding

One of my cousins got Married again for the second time on Friday afternoon, for me it was a difficult time because his mother and father have passed away quite a long time ago and I still miss them both with all my heart.  They were the most perfect beautiful parents and my Godparents in the whole world. 

Made this card for the special day.

I thought some lace, ribbons and some sewing world be good, from all stock that I had laying around the house.  Found this beautiful heavy embossed paper in my collection too and deceided that cream and white would be the go.  Did not know if the bride would be wearing white,  cream or even a colour so played it safe and used the white and cream together.  The Rose is a stamp from Kasiercraft new collection and had been coloured using Tria pens, you can't notice it but the rose petals have been touched with a hint of sparkle from a pen.

The wedding in itself was a beautiful simple wedding held down the coast in Sorrento at a place called 'The Baths" the weather was a little bit on again off again, meaning scattering showers and overcast, then the sun would shine.  Unfortunately because of the older family members the service was held inside, we could still see the sun shining and the backdrop of a beautiful afternoon was unfolding.
