So with my desk again in action and some desperate playing happening and a quick catch up with the bestie to do some chatting and planning. My desk is happy again that I am using it. I have made so many cards actually UFO's of die cuts that have been sitting around and now used for the right reason. I don't like waste. I have been working on my bird stationary sets, so I am getting along with things. I find crafting is so therapeutic.
Here is a shot of the desk with my daughter Myrene making her bead items and the assistance she is getting from Yoda, just a typical photo in this house. Here he is wanting more that being on her lap, of course a cuddle is a must and he won't give in either until he gets what he wants.
All of the rolls of wire on the desk, is a find I got the other day when out with bestie, they were $1 per roll a real bargain.
Got some quality envelopes from my wholesaler, I like a quality envelope when going to the trouble of making a nice card you may as well go the distance and do the best you can.
Sorry to everyone for being late this week I actually thought it was Wednesday today.
So happy Belated WOYWW everyone and happy crafting.

oooh I have missed seeing you, hopefully things slow down for you soon. that is easy to see who is the boss of whom in the shots with your dd. :) ~Stacy
So glad to see you back at WOYWW, too dear friend. And of course, Yoda looks fine and ready for some cuddles. At least YOU have a cat that will sit for the camera. Mine runs and hides.
I was in AWE of all that wire. You are right that was a bargain. I paid three times that for a small amount at the craft store, and it was not even on a spool! Way to go.
Thanks for the earlier visit. Happy rather late WOYWW from #9.
And you're telling ME to slow down??! Lol :-) yep, the glamour of working in TV wears off really fast, doesn't it? Don't blame you for not blogging..there really is only so much you can achieve in 24 hours!
I love the photos of your girl and Yoda! When cats decide they want fuss, there's no escaping, is there? It has to be RIGHT NOW, MIAOW, MIAOW, MIAOW....purr purr purr.
Well have a great time on Saturday and take loads of pics. It's a shame the village hall doesn't have wifi, else we could set up Skype!
Hugs, LLJ 18 xxxx
welcome back and thanks for finding time to visit already!! Great photos, and good to see your desk being used, even if not by yourself!! Will take lots of pics as Jan says, and post them as soon as I can after Saturday. Helen 4
So glad you have been able to have some much needed R&R this week. How's Myrene going with her studies? She looks relaxed, and happy with her beading.
Flat out here with Mum in hospital, and Joan's husband now at same Home complex. Getting tense between them and he's only been there a few days. Joan was getting used to just pleasing herself and no responsibilities. Her hubby very loud and demanding!
Have a great rest of week.

Wow you are busy look at all those sets. Your kitty seems very happy cuddling there. Just bought my furry guy some fresh cat nip plant a lot of gimme meows had to lock the plant away now he's passed out lol. I'm so looking forward to seeing what everyone has made for the swap hugs Nikki 2 thanks for the visit
I know it gal, when the week goes by so fast that you can't actually believe that you've worked through a day without recognising it! the card sets look lovely, and you're right, it's such a therapy.Love the pics of your gorgeous gal being space bombed by Yoda...I figure it is easier to give in!!
Hi Elizabeth...glad to see you have found some time at your desk, was also wondering where you were but did figure you'd be busy with the footy up and going again. :-) my cats have a mind of their own and Yoda does look in charge there with Myrene. Have a lovely weekend RobynO#15
Lovely to see you back in woyww (I missed this week) busy seems to be the norm these days. Have a lovely week crafting and a big smooch to Yoda.
So good to have you back but realise that it can be difficult for you to post with the work you have to do.
Great find in the wire - gee, that is some price!!
Love the photos of Myrene and Yoda, especially the one where she is smiling at the attention she is getting from him.
Love to all
Hugs, Neet 19 xx
Nice to see you and Yoda back - he's looking gorgeous as usual - and it must be lovely having your daughter crafting with you. That wire is a great bargain, I find it quite pricey, so well done on your bargain of the year!
Thank you so much for stopping by my desk earlier, hope you have a great week

Hi Eliza, who could resist Yoda he's so gorgeous. You are doing well to post at all with all that you have to do. Have a good week and happy crafting, Angela x 34
Hi Eliza.
Good to see you this week. I had been wondering where you were - now we know... Wow - You have been busy with all your cards and stationary sets! They look great. Not sure how much beading your daughter is managing with Yoda insisting on having a go!!
Thanks for the visit today - and thank you for your prayers. we really do appreciate that. John has recovered from the cellulitis and his arm is now the right size again - we think he still has a chest infection, but because of the amount of antibiotics he has been pumped with recently, the medics are leaving him be for a week or two to see what happens. In the meantime he has started the Pulmonary rehab course - and is doing well - two classes in, and I am already thinking I will need a keep fit class to keep up with him!!!!! It will be good for him to regain confidence and begin to move around more as he strengthens his muscles.
Take care. God bless.

A bargain indeed, all those rolls of wire for a $1 a roll! Nice one, as they say here in the UK.

Hi Eliza,
No need to apologise for being "late". I appreciate visits from anyone, anytime :)
I think Yoda is actually getting more attention than the beads :)
Am wondering where you get your quality envelopes from? I am after some smallish square ones. Not that easy to find, and yes, I also want nice quality ones.
Are you swapping ATCs for the Woyww anniversary?
Look, it's Wednesday again! Hopefully, we can catch up later, today maybe ... or whenever :)
Thanks for your kind words about my cards. That die is fabulous, isn't it?!
I just realized I never got around to visiting you last week. Yoda steals the show (and your heart) for sure. I agree with quality envelopes. For one thing the postal office is rather brutal with envelopes so you want them to be able to hold up to a pounding.
Sounds like you've got lot on your plate. The rolls of wire do sound like a real bargain. Good for you for snatching them up! Here's hoping things calm down some for you. Its's a good thing we do have our crafting therapy to turn to. ;)
