WOYWW 295

We all say it every single week, "what has happen to the week it has gone so fast" here we are again posting on a Wednesday to show our whatchamacallit's and thingamajig's with thanks to Julia at the Stamping Ground for hosting the desk hop.

My desk is covered with all sorts of stuff for the next mixed media page.  I have a stamp set my bestie gave me for Christmas that I want to use on the page, also a bundle of stencils at the ready.  I have finished that Journal page, you saw on my desk last week. I'm happy with it, if you want to see it here it is.  I have more ideas running around in my head for another page, this is a good thing.

The other side of the desk is my daughters stuff she has been working on some beading.  She enrolled in Uni last week and we went on a little bit of a shopping jaunt while we were at it, well it was in the same area so that counts as OK right?  Here are some shots of the beading shop for you to look at.

There are so many beads in this place and packets and packets of bulk ones too.  Judy of Judy's Fabrications is going to want to visit this place when she comes to visit next time, I can see her jumping with excitement in her chair as I am typing this post.   Yes Judy I will take you to this shop.......

I've been in the garden again when work has permitted me, I've planted some roses and gardenia's. My uncle passed away the Friday before last and I have been to his house dug up one of his roses and planted it at my house in his name, I hope it takes, growing wise as rose's don't usually like being transplanted.  My mothers maiden name is Rose and it was her brother. Mum has long been passed on.  I think she would of liked me doing this.

Yoda is still Yoda a precious little fur bundle and snuggle puss.  Here he is in his bedroom bed because the sun is beaming in and he is a sponge when it comes to the warmth of the sun.  Have a look at his crossed paws, he always does this and it always brings a smile to my face.  His Yoda dome is in the office, he gets the best of both rooms. Actually rephrase that he has a bed in all the rooms, nothing like being comfortable when not being cuddled by a human. LOL  I am off now to visit some desks and see what you have on yours.  Please leave a link number if you can and I will return your visit.

Late addition to the post I am having some
difficulty trying to visit people I have a baby
that needs my total attention and keeps walking on my keyboard and trying to get hugs.  I am sorry but I am going to have to visit you all tomorrow.

.

He is precious also demanding.

Happy crafting
Hugs Eliza & Yoda

Good luck with the rose, they are pretty tough and it is always worth a try. The bead shop looks amazing and what a treat to have a DD who is into craft. Yoda knows the best spots.

I always told my husband he's so lucky I got into stamping rather than beadwork or jewelry making, lol!!! They're so gorgeous but so much more expensive than my stamping supplies! I hope your new rose bush takes, but I'm sorry for your loss. *Waves* to Yoda!

Is that a Dylusions journal I've spotted on you desk? I've got one too, but I'm keeping it till next year. Yoda is just adorable - he always puts a smile on my face too. I would spoil him rotten too if he was my cat! Lovely idea to transplant one of your uncle's roses - fingers crossed it likes the new environment. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #41

That page from last week turned out great :) I like the addition of the sparkley stickles. Yoda is hilarious with the being in front of the screens. My bff has the same problem with her 'fluffy butt' cat. She was trying to send me a photo yesterday of her new couch and kitty just wouldn't let her type lol Shel#55

That Dylusion journal must have been the best selling item the last few months. I stick with my vintage albums though, is far cheaper. Nice store you visited, how much did you spend :-) ?
Yoda is always a pleasure for me. He looks like a wise old little person - he has the right name.

Your desk looks inviting, but I'm fascinated by all the little cubbies and containers in the background . . . and that bead store is amazing!

So sorry to hear about your uncle. I do hope the rose does well; I dug up quite a lot of my grandma's peonies, they're a constant reminder of her.

Chin scratches for Yoda!

Tell Yoda to scootch over a bit. I want to join him lounging in the sun. All those beads! I'm sure your post has lots of people squealing with joy over all those beads! Good luck with the gardening, especially the rose. Happy days! Judy #64

Hope the rose take OK - regular watering and lots of talking to it...?? Take heart. Yoda isn't the only puss trying to get in on the act today! That bead shop is something else! WOW!!! One of our grand daughters would just LOVE to be in there.
Take care. God bless.

He is such a sweetie, how can you resist Yoda?
Hope your rose survives the transplant, it was a lovely idea to do that. Sorry to hear your uncle has passed on.
Gosh that bead store is something else, never seen anywhere like that.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx (with sore finger)

Yes Yoda needs your attention...and you probably can't get anything done until she's satisfied. I hope the roses will thrive for you.

Oh wow, look at all the sparkly goodness in that bead shop. I'd be like a magpie in there..bet Judy buys the odd thing or two, lol!!
You may be lucky with the rose if you cut it right back and keep it well watered. It's a lovely thought and worth trying.
And Yoda...yep, he's one lucky puss cat!

Now, the small dustpan and brush I get, the journal pages ready (you're on a roll!) but Huh..the Orange things..tell me they aren't weights for training!!!
The bead shop is beautifully arranged, it's those swathes of colour coordination that set my heart a flutter...enough to make me want to buy stuff I would never use!
so glad the Uni and the kid are all sorted and geared up..exciting times! If I lived in your vicinity, Yoda would be sharing that 'sunned' it looks like bliss to me.

Hi Eliza, Yoda's crossed paws did make me smile, as well as his keep interrupting you on your keyboard. Cats do indeed know how to insist upon attention. Here's hoping the Rose is happy where you planted it, that is indeed a lovely way to remember important people in your life. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #13 xx

I love popping in to see what you and Yoda are up to each week! I envy you being able to plant (although I do not envy the reason you have a rose bush to plant- hugs).. as I am in Canada and everthing is FROZEN... please do pop in for a visit if you can I'd love to show you my crazy MESSY space! A lovely way to remember your late uncle, planting his rose in your garden. I hope it takes.
Gosh what a lot of beads! I've never seen so many. We don't have bead shops here so I can't compare really but it looks like a fantastic shop. Could spend hours in there (and I don't bead!)
Well, the weather here in Spain has been awful. We've had terrible gales with the inevitable intermittent power outs for several days (we live out in the sticks) and of course no internet.... Not able to do any visits, just trying to catch up now.
Have a good week,
