T stands for Tuesday

Here I am again joining in on the fun at T Stands For Tuesday and my "T" this week is
CrocheT

yes I am crocheting a baby's blanket for one of the Techies on the broadcasting team at work, he works in audio and his wife is due with their 2nd child in the next 2 or 3 weeks and they don't know what it is.  I am crocheting this blanket for the new born in lemon and white, as neutral as I can get.  I have also started another blanket with pink and bright colours using up scrap wool for their daughter who is now 4, she is one precious bundle of joy.  I think this will be a lovely surprise for both the daughter and mother after all the mother and baby are the ones getting all the goodies and I don't want this Princess feeling left out and this should cheer her up.  I will show shots of it next week, it's in the car and to be honest I can't be bothered to go out and get it and photograph it, so you will have to take my word on it.  This is something I can do whilst waiting for others at work and can be easily picked up and put down, a win win for me as I don't like sitting idle.

Pop on over the Elizabeth's & Bluebeard's blog and check out T Stands For Tuesday and join in the fun.  Oh and Elizabeth & Bluebeard are coming up on their first anniversary next week.  I am off now to post this and visit a few desks.

Happy Tuesday
Hugs Eliza

How very nice of you to make this baby blanket. I love that stitch, mostly because it is the only one I know how to do correctly......LOL
Thanks for stopping by my blog this week and the wonderful comment about the photos.

Your blanket is beautiful- and a very special gift too! My mom still regularly crochets blankets but I haven't done one in years. Happy T day!

How very sweet of you to do this for a co-worker. Sounds like something you would do. And of course the blanket will bring lots of good cheer and warm love that can be passed down from generation to generation. What a great gift that keeps on giving.

Thanks for visiting this week and showing this crocheted blanket during T.

Your blanket is really pretty and what a sweet idea to make one for the older sibling. I'm working on a baby blanket too, mine is knitted in yellow. Baby not due until November so I have plenty of time.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.

I love to crochet, too, and your baby gift is going to be lovely. Of course, here in the states, it is much too hot for me to work with yarn right now. Sweet of you to make one for the big sister also! Happy tea day.

I admire your crochet ability. I need another lesson or two. I always get messed up with those granny squares...pretty soon...they aren't square. ;)

I like to crochet as well, but usually small things like doilies as I love lacy things. The blanket is beautiful

Hello and Happy T Day a little late. What a pretty blanket and thoughtful gift too. My mom made one for me, pink and white. Think she still has it somewhere packed away. Homemade blankets are a treasure I think.

Have a great week.
