WOYWW 221

Welcome, time is flying and I feel like I have been flying everywhere this week. Did a road trip to Geelong for work, going back again tomorrow.  Whilst I was there I meet up with the lovely Sandy and her DH and went shopping, had coffee and chatted, it was good really good.

I have managed to achieve 1, yes 1 card this week. I decided to catalog my stamps that I have purchased over the last year and naughty me had not added them to the catalog.  I store my stamps in CD boxes that are numbered and then stamped into a catalog under the relevant categories, this way it makes life easy when I want a subject or just cruise the stamps for inspiration.

Oh and went to the doctors and got the results, apparently my sinus's are severely infected and blocked fully, then there is the doozy yep doozy I have a virus in my front portion of my brain caused they believe by the infection in the sinus's I have been on medication and the headaches are not changing and I still feel sick all the time from the pain but hey. NO tumors and yes I still have a brain. I am OK that is the main thing and the headaches will go eventually, the doctors said this sort of thing can be
stubborn and take quite a while to rectify.

Yoda well where do I start with this little man? yes he is a mischief man and only wanting cuddles but he is good as you can see, playing havoc on my desk pushing things off so I can pay more attention to him after all this is all about Yoda LOL If he knocks that tower of stamps down he will be in deep trouble. Yes he has tried a few times already and no I will not move them until I am ready too.

So that is me for this week, I have sorting to do so I must get on with it.  Took today off to do fun things and bum around as us Aussies call it.

Want to see more desks then pop on over to Julia's Place called the Stamping Ground and check them out, why don't you even share your desk, link in with us and have some worldly fun.

Hugs  Eliza & Yoda

Hi Eliza and Yoda...that's cool window desk spot you have and I bet that's also why Yoda likes it....my family still live in Bendigo but we find the climate here in QLD much more pleasant. Hope you're feeling a lot better soon, sounds a bit rough with the headaches. Cheers and good luck with the cataloging. RobynO #32

What a relief to have sussed out what those headaches were all about: it isn't nice; but it's good to know it's nothing sinister and that it will heal in time! Yoda looks as if he wants to get into some serious ink blending there! Hey, one card is better than no cards! And how organized you are with your cataloguing! Have a great WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #42

Hi dear. Thanks for stopping by for Tea yesterday, and then again tonight/today for you.

I'm sorry about your sinus problem, but the bright side, as you pointed out, it isn't a brain tumor, which is a REALLY good thing. And I think Yoda just "knows" when you aren't well. Cats have this ability (and NO, I don't believe in attributing human characteristics to cats) to sense when we are sick. I know Bleubeard wants to be close to me when I'm not feeling well. So that may be why he is wanting so much attention right now. It may even have something to do with the brain waves we put off when we are not feeling well, especially where a headache is involved. It's all scientific, but it's also still a big brain mystery as to how and why it works.

You asked if I had shown all my desks. None by either toilet, none in any of the three bedrooms, one of which is mine of course, but there are two in my office. I don't ever bring liquids, including paint or even ink around my computer. I'm too much of a klutz. I use those desks mainly for computer and digital work.

I have a large writing desk in my living room area that I didn't show, either. So, I have a full house for Bleubeard and me. We are both really spoiled (grin).

What fabulous photos - and of Yoda, my favourite little guy.
Just finished reading the three books by Peter Gethers (Norton series) and bawled my eyes out when the little guy passes on in the end one. Took me days to read it as I had to keep putting it down when I got to the "sick cat" part. Gosh I am emotional!
Sorry to hear about your sinuses but awfully glad you are not suffering with anything too serious. I know where your mind went - mine does the same. Hope the headaches clear before too long.
How lovely to have a day with a fellow WOYWW'er - the perfect thing.
Thanks for the earlier visit, I was sound asleep at the time.
Hugs to you and Yoda (and the other furry babes) Neet 25 xx

I already have 3 for my many many tags ;-) You sound very cheerful considering. I hope things continue to improve and the pesky headaches go soon. I always admire your wonderful view when I pop over. Did Yoda knock over the stamp tower I wonder??? He looks like he is thinking about it ;-) Happy WOYWW from Helen 27 X

Hi Eliza & Yoda!Raod trips are so much fun, especially when you meet up with friends and shop! So sorry to hear about your sinuses! Ouch, that is so painful and a virus in the brain sounds scary. How have you been able to keep going? I hope you get better fast and get rid of those nasty headaches. As for Yoda, I have Mr. Bear sitting in my chair at my work table. For some reason my fur babies stay off when he's there. Get well soon, Rasz #120

Infected sinuses are icky. Have you ever tried a neti pot? It seems weird but works great. I've had sinus infections and done a neti pot with 1/2 tsp. colloidal silver and it knocked the infection right out.

Yoda is telling you to get on with the stamp organizing or else! lol

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the kind comments.

Happy Woyww,

I am so sorry re the awful sinus infection. How horrible.you must be feeling lousy with the horrible headaches.
I used to have loads of sinus infections when teaching, but I have a lot less although Spring plays havoc. I eat better now, take Vit C, and use boiled water & salt to wash sinuses.I hold one nostril closed then sniff up salt water.
I love naughty Yoda who tosses things off your desk until he gets what he wants!!Siamese cats are Very Intelligent and wonderfully quirky aren't they.
Thanks for great comment on my blog

Wow that's a new one for the books, a sinus infection causing a infection of the brain.....I do hope it all settles down for you soon and you are back to good health. It looks like Yoda is enjoying your craft room and the warmer weather. Done envy you cataloging all your stamps but it definitely sounds like a great way to keep track of all that you own. Have a great week! Danie #62

Hello, I am sending this to everyone. Im sorry I am not going to be able to get to all the desk and I have now lost my sheet of paper that I was writing them down on. I don't think my cat is going to make it through the night to even see the vet. She is old just like my dog so I guess they are going to get sick at the same time or so. I just going to copy and paste and sorry to every one that I didn't get to read.. I just cant do it right now. Thank you Roberta 40 and bright blessings to all.

Now that is pile of stamps! I think Yoda is seeing if they measure up to him. :) Love to hear you keep a catalog of your stamps! I'm in the process of doing that, though I'll keep mine in binders, as I store my spellbinders and other dies in CD cases. Binders hold more take up less room. Fab sunshine coming in your window. Looks like Yoda loves it! Hugs and a late Happy WOYWW! Nan G #21

Your little Yoda is a cutie. My Molly is quite mischevious like he is. I'm impressed that you have all of your stamps catalogued - I wish I was that organized. Thank you for visiting my blog earlier - I am way behind as I've been under the weather. I hope you are feeling better soon. April #24

Great desk this week, Eliza - and I really like your storage for the stamps - that is such a good idea. I do trust you will soon start to feel better, the infection clears up, and you are soon back to full speed. Yoda looks a little rascal - a bit like Max over at Mrs D's!! - he is also a cuddle rascal.
Trust all is well.
