WOYWW 201

I  have had a busy week, this is not an exaggeration, working mega hours at the Logies here in Melbourne, coupled with the footy, followed up with the Today Show on Monday so by the time I got out of the place it was very late Tuesday.  I was meant to go to the Charity Group and do some electrical work today but didn't even have the energy to get out of bed, body is killing me in pain.  So I am staying home, struggling to find things that don't need cleaning or something doing to it.   You probably notice the garden bin in the window too, Jenny has been doing some stuff outside for me in the garden, we have been doing it together when we can but I can't always get out there.

My desk however has survived without me and yesterday I got a pleasant surprise of some Kaisercraft 6x6 paper pads and some collectibles to go with them, some rub on lettering in different fonts and a new stamp set, so I am all set to play, just need the time.  I also got a Mag in the post today and had to rip that open and check it out, it even came with an embossing folder and some 2 tone card stock as an extra bonus.  I love it when the extras arrive, because most of the time I would never dream of purchasing these little extras.  So my desk is filled with crafty goodness and work is buried underneath.  Got to admit work should just move off the desk so I can play but this is not how it happens unfortunately.  Hey it should all be sorted by tonight hopefully.  Then I have to pull apart my main computer because it just wont work anymore, I fixed it a little while ago but now I don't know, I might need a new one completely.

Yoda is safe and sound, my father told the previous abusers that the cat had passed away and guess what, they went and got another cat within 2 days.  Goes to show how much they loved him, to not even give the previous cat a second thought and morn a little bit.  Goes to show how shallow some people are, especially these mongrels.  Anyway Yoda is safe and loved that is the main thing.  You will see a photo of Yoda on the back of my BF, she was trying to get something out of the drawer in the kitchen and Yoda wanted a cuddle because she had on her vest, he likes to get inside the vest and cuddle/snuggle LOL and he wouldn't wait, excellent shots, sorry about the bottom view.  He is one persistent little man and he so loves his Auntie Jenny.  So this is me for this week, I promise to show some art or cards made for next week, hopefully I have a few days at home in between business to do some art, I really need it.
Want to see more desks then pop on over to Julia's desk and blog around the world, it's the best desk hop, blog party going around.  I will let her explain it all.

Hugs to all from Yoda & Eliza

We love seeing Yoda so no worries about the lack of crafting besides which you did show us some lovely stash in the beginning. Congrats on all the goodies that came your way.
Great news about the previous owners (apart from the worry on how they will treat the next cat) - good thinking by your dad. Yoda should be safe now.
Thanks for visiting me earlier - Hugs, Neet number 16 xx

Ah, so sweet kitty!!! What a fun shot! I miss having a cat.

Sorry work has stopped the creative flow. It really does mess with us crafters when we can't PLAY on a regular basis, doesn't it?? Hope you get to dive into that lovely new stash ASAP!!!

Happy crafting!

your desk is brimming with creativity an invitation to just sit down and go with it. Computers do have poor sense of timing when it comes to breaking down.
Yoda is fabulous and definitely has personality.

Oh, Eliza, you squeeze a ton into your little post. Firstly, let me say that I'm so sorry you've been in pain and I hope you find relief soon!

Second, that picture of Jenny and Yoda is beyond priceless!! (And I have to say those buttheads should NOT ever be allowed another animal!)

It sounds like you have some lovely new goodies and I hope things do sort themselves out as soon as you expect so you can play!

And, in your spare time, come and produce the movie of my life! LOL! Feel better, thanks for coming by to see me, and have a great week!! Darnell #47

Oooer, lucky you - I love Kaisercraft!

Yoda stole the show today - am delighted to hear the previous owners are now off the scene (although I fear for their new cat).

I can't seem to find all of the extra things from Kaiser here in the US. I can find the paper, but not much else. I love seeing your desk! It is always filled with new crafty goodness!!!
Yoda looks completely content on your friends back! How did she get up? It looks like he isn't moving ever!!
Those idiots who had him definitely did not deserve him. I would think that after finding him in that condition they wouldn't be allowed to get another cat! awful
