WOYWW 192

Loads of stuff on my desk, I am in full swing creating and trying to finish off a few jobs.  Yesterday I participated in a Mixed Media Creative Session and that needs finishing, just not sure what to put on the bottom or top.  Had to create a card for a 40th Birthday and had a few bits left over, so made another card with the remnants, my Trias are all over the place, yep this is me in messy mode.  Not even the water and brushes has been cleaned.  Gesso is still out, crackle is still out, stamp is still on the block not even cleaned, corner cropper and versapad, charcoal pencils, calligraphy pens, you name it, it is probably on my desk.   This is very unusual for me but it does happen from time to time, not finished, I walk away when I have had no motive or inspiration bite me, maybe the creative bliss will return later when the weather has cooled somewhat, it is nearly 40  here today, bloody hot but beautiful.  So the Cricket is on TV and I am off to watch it and down a few cold beers.

Want to see more desks, then pop over to the Stamping Ground Blog and hop around and see what you can find.

So let me know what you are upto and share your desk, I love snooping......

Have a wonderful week

Eliza

Must be inky season, with Julia and my blogs, yes I love my alcohol inks. trying to revive all the old techniques, these days the cards are just boring using no techniques and only scrapbooking papers.

The stamp will wait, it's not hurting the brushes...I thin k you did the right thing - walk away before you mess up and get cross...I do now, but it took a lot of learning!

With those temperatures I am not surprised you are just watching the cricket. Although your desk looks full of creative stuff that would keep me occupied for ages. Lovely card.

SUCH a tidy desk :) Love the card, but the ones a post back made me laugh - guess what I unearthed in my massive tidy&organize session? Yep. Those very papers - the pack has them in green, blue and white. I swear I've had them for 10 years....

Love the card, very cute...but please...get your brushes out of the jar before they get their bristles ruined..lol...sorry, an art teacher drilled us on brush prevention and it still sticks to this day! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥

Hey, love that "Cheers!" card, Eliza! Your desk doesn't look too messy to me, but I'd be afraid I'd drink that paint brush water - it looks a lot like a tequilla sunrise!!

Thanks for visiting the Playhouse! I hope you have a wonderful week and cooler weather! Darnell #47

Hi, Eliza, you are smart to take a break when inspiration wanes. I like your card -- am sure the recipient will as well. Thanks for visiting me already -- elbow news was more positive than feared -- only tendonitis! Happy very belated WOYWW. ~ Laura
