It was Mixed Media Mondays in the USA, but it was Tuesday afternoon here, I joined in again and this is the page all completed. Not really my style that's for sure, I did a few changes only minor from the original mainly colours and products because I didn't have what Tracy has, but I still like the end result. The main thing with this Mixed Media Journal stuff is that it makes me sit back and actually watch and participate in the activities each week. I need to journal or do something creative and this gets me doing it.
We played with the Gelli Plate and did a few different levels to the printing of the background which was really cool, I so love my new Gelli Plate, I can even use the paper that was used to get ink off the plate after achieving the desired print for the journal page. I will be using that sheet of paper for a card coz it is so yummnie.
Seriously if you don't know about the Gelli Plates or you are thinking about getting one, go for it they are awesome.
The heart has a stamp that I don't use as much as I really should, I really go to use it so many times and it just sits there on the desk looking at me. (saying pick me, pick me)... Seriously it is a beautiful stamp by Stampington and I have had it forever, maybe this is my cue to keep using it.

ooohing and aweing over your lovely art journal page. It's so gorgeous. I've so been wanting a gelli plate for forever, and I see everybody using them now. Happy Wednesday! LisaDV #116
Love that cover or is a page? Whichever, its really great! :) I love the stamp on the heart, too...I think I've got some swirls that I really like and rarely use, too. I wonder why that is? Hmmm, well anyways I've gotten my school work done for the day so I'm off to play in my craft cave. Hugs!
I am really interested in jelly plates but they are not available in our country so I am a bit worried to order them through post! As they are jelly! I hope I can at some point buy them in England and brim them home safely! As I can see you have been experimenting with them and the results are lovely! Thank you for sharing!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian
