Ink Pads, Journal, Paints, Oh and my favourite scissors have managed to make their way back into my life. The house stole them for awhile but has now chosen to be kind and return them. (this is what the excuse is around here and it works for us) yep i know they just got waylayed for a long time. Created another card using stamps of Timmy's Visual Artistry Collection and quite like it. I am still saying I am not into the love stuff but this works for me.
Went and did some retail therapy and had a wonderful trip to Geelong to meet up with Sandy from Lonely Cards and spent some money on a lot of supplies, that KaiserCraft factory outlet is AMAZING and yes I came away with heaps, real value for money. They had these sets of paper, stamps, embellishments going out for $20 and wow, what a deal, truly incredible. I don't want to show the pictures as there is so much stuff I thought it to be rude to be honest. Then I had my delivery of more Timmy's stuff from CraftOnline and got the new hanging sign, it's a thinlits die, oh and the tattered banners too, they are both on my desk near the iPad.
Participated in an online Mixed Media Session yesterday and found it very entertaining hence the journal page in stages of creation. The Online session was creating coasters but I converted it to journal but still have to finish it. I spent most of my time fiddling trying to get chat working. Maybe next week it will all work out.
Then of all things I got really, really sick yesterday afternoon and DD & DH called an ambulance because i was having problems staying still I was spinning out of control (vertigo) vomiting, burning up and perspiring like hell. I couldn't see my vision was blurry and wow I was really bad. Spent the night in hospital and just got home now. Not a happy camper, still feel ill and yuckie but taking medication and need to rest. They thought I did to much yesterday but of all days, I spent it at the desk playing and resting. Go Figure..... The hospital says there is some really weird vertigo virus going around, just as well I have been home for a few days. All OK now, still feel strange but will pick up before the weekend of work.
So from me, stay away from sick people and do some art it is much healthier believe me.
Sorry no Yoda shots this week he is in bed with DD who spent the night at the hospital awake with me. She is such a sweetie and I love her caring and loving ways. Love you Moo.
So that is me for this week, fun, games and art frolic what about you what have you been upto? Want to see more desks then pop on over the The Stamping Ground Blog where Ms Julia who has the kindest and most generous heart in the world hosts this blog hop.

Your card is lovely with the hearts. Will have to get that tattered banners die didn't realise that it was the long one, so glad that I have the cutting pads for that one now though. Have joined up with the mixed media so will have a look at it all when I get a chance..

Sounds like you’ve had a busy week one way or another Eliza.
Hope you’re feeling better soon and that your
yuckiness doesn’t tune into anything lasting. There’s nothing worse than having the time to craft but not feeling well enough to do it.
Happy Crafting!

Well, that just shows how crazy we all are about seeing everyone's desk. You just get home from the hospital and have to post. lol. I am glad you are home and doing a bit better. Rest and get all the way better now! Your card is beautiful. I may have to copy it.

Oh how horrid for you, I've got a virus that does the same to me but to a lesser extent for sure, usually just makes me feel constantly seasick and very deaf in one ear. Lots of people recommended some rather silly sounding exercises for labrynthitis and by golly, they really helped..you tube, of course!
A bit jealous that you and Sandy have got togehter AND been to a Kaiser outlet, but delighted that you were able to score a bargain. Have a quiet few days before getting back into work, huh!
Really hope you're feeling better soon Eliza, you must have had that bug in your system already, nothing to do with your rest day. Oh go on be rude, show us your new stash! Lordy, I've just seen how many pairs of scissors you have!! Surprised you knew the one pair was missing at all!
Hugs

I will have to look into the mixed media it sounds very interesting. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great week! Vickie #35
I've missed you too Eliza!! I have been trying to be better!!

Glad to be back!! Thanks for caring!!!

Hope you are feeling better soon. I have been a bit under the weather so i know how it can eventually keep you away from your blog...:(
That card is gorgeous! Love the look of it...
How nice to go to the Kaiser Outlet...I did not know there was such a thing...it is always nice to get a bargain...
Off top go enlarge your photos and check out all the goodies...
Gorgeous card--and isn't it annoying when the house makes off with the arty stuff???!!!
But at least your scissors found their way back!
Happy WOYWW!

and a little late!
Wow! I can't believe I'm just now getting here, I must have went to bed the other night instead of at least clicking on a few desks...I even forgot to comment on Julia's! Where was my head?! Anyways, sorry you had such a doozy of a virus hit you like that. I've had inner ear infections, they don't hurt, but they can make you unable to walk all of a sudden, like a surprise burst of vertigo...once I had one hit me while walking and, I guess thankfully, there was a non-sharp thing in front of me that I caught myself on. Okay, by caught myself on I mean I fell into it! :) But thankfully I didn't get hurt. Anyways, hope you are feeling all better by now. And that is a super sweet DD you've got there. And I'm so glad you got some goodies for cheap! I have been using the links for Joanne's...and they have been appreciating my business! lol I can't even share pics if I wanted, though, because their shipping takes for-eeeee-ver! At least it was free, though. :) Ooh, fab card, too! Did you fussy cut the bird on the branch? Or is there a die and stamp for that one? Hmm, well I have to run for now. Take care dear! :) Deeyll
P.S. I did respond to your comment on my blog, finally! :)
hope everyone is feeling better at your house!
Happy crafting!
