I was fiddling with some hearts and wings as part of the Compendium Of Curiosities Book working my way through it. I cut this heart shape and wings to do the crackle paint technique and remembered Simon Says Stamp had a challenge on as well involving Lace or Dollies and thought I will put this card together for it.
Love, Romance all this sort of stuff really isn't me, but hey what the hell give it ago. I was to late for the participation with the Challenge over there this week by about 1/2 hour but who cares it got me to do something with what I have been playing with.
The heart is painted with crackle and inked, wings the same, paper unknown, it was just laying around had some awesome umbrellas on the other side which is what I got the paper for in the first place. Stamped the Love word from Timmy's Visual Artistry Stamp Collection with Distress Victorian Velvet Ink and embossed it. Flowers were pre-made by Merci purchased them from Lincraft. As I said this is not really me, but it is all about creating, playing outside your comfort zone and having fun.

I understand the romance part not being you, I'm the same way. But that's my state of mind these day since my divorce...anywhoo....I have to make cards for sell, so HAVE to make lovey dovey romantic cards, although I sneak a few snarky cards in there too! lol ♥ waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ☺
