WOYWW 186 I AM LATE TOO

Sorry Everyone I actually thought there was no post this week but when I start to check and catch up there is, what a lovely surprise.

So I am late very late and I hope you forgive me Julia - LOL  Better late than never isn't that what they
say?

My desk this week is in a shambles, CChristmas in well and truly over and i don't know what happened to it, what with working flat out over the lat couple of months on the Bake Off Show. So I didn't get to enjoy the lead up to Christmas.  So I am going to continue to make Christmas cards, and eat Christmas food.  So if you think that sounds like a plan, well it is......

My desk ta dah.......

And this is what lurks beneath my desk, my boy Charlie sleeping amongst the holly.........
Whenever I am at my desk this is where he is.  That is Santa's Bum in gold just butting around the corner in case you wanted to know.

I do hope everyone had a great Christmas and enjoyed themselves.  I know I had a great day, everything went to plan, although I did work on the big day, I finished at 7 am and went home, prepared the food and house for the festivities.   I really had quite a pleasing day.......
No complaints at my house........

Want to see more desks then pop on over to the Stamping Ground and check out what the Mistress of the Desk Hop has got to show you, heaps more and better than mine.

Hugs to all Eliza

Aw! Charlke looks comfy there under your desk! I presume you are a nurse? Hence working.
Sounds like you had fun at your house and why not keep your cards for Rudolpg Day every 25th of the month? Just scroll back to a 25th month posting.
Happy New Year to you and your family and Charlie of course!

Yes we will have to get together for the Kaisercraft, chocolate factory day it is yummy.. They where lemonade scones and home made jam and it was lovely.. The chocolate ice cream was in a muffin chocolate case my friend had that, said it was yummy too.. The blue wrens where jumping around at our feet and the day was just the perfect day to be outside.. Sounds like you had a great day with your family.. Glad you have some time off in the next few days.. The flowers on the exploding box matched perfectly thanks so much for that.. Glad you liked it, if you want measurements just yell out and I will measure it all up for you..
Have a great New Year..

Good for you for doing your Christmas a few hours behind! I didn't realise that you had the Bake off series in Oz as well, it has been the hit of the year over here! Hopefully you have a bit of time off to recharge your batteries now? Enjoy the Christmas nosh and card making! At least you'll be prepared for next year, lol!!

Thank you for your kind words regarding Mum, I guess we'll always miss her....she was such a fun and supportive lady, I was lucky to have her for so long :)

Sending love and hugs for a happy, healthy 2013

Hi, Eliza, so glad you had a good Christmas. I have a friend who claims that it's totally fair game to get Christmas cards out before 12th night. I just got a card from my middle sister yesterday. Thanks for visiting -- sending a hug from snowy upstate New York to you in your warm temperate home. ~ Laura #39

Hey, Eliza! Glad you got on the WOYWW bus and thank you for your visit to the Playhouse. I'm sorry to be so late returning the visit.

I love that you shared Charlie. They do adore us so and he obviously is so happy to have mama home. He'd be up in your lap if he could! (Got a guffaw over Santa's butt!!)

I'm glad you ended up enjoying Christmas after working so hard. I wish you all the best for a happy and healthy new year!! Darnell #53
