Life has been good, another frantic week slipping on by, managed to make a card and in the process of another. Purchased the tape gun I have so desperately wanted since seeing them ages ago on this blog hop, thanks to all who said it was a good gun because it is awesome. Also got some Dylusions spray in red I have heaps of watercolour ink and really just needed the red. Also obtained in the same order the Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Pens that you can fill yourself and his paint palettes. Oh and a handmade stamp that I made a little while ago, now that was fun. You should try it sometime. I think I will make some more one day.
So overall I am pretty happy. The WOYWW badge of honour is on the desk and Hooter is hiding and playing on the Lazy Susan, I am also in the process of making another card but had to leave it as is, due to work. Will be working on it sooner rather than later.
Spent the last few days on the Docklands which is part of our fine city and becoming a very beautiful area. You can see the water is really calm and soothing, The Crew all had fun, as we were working outside the buildings on the water front and in front of Chanel 7 LOL we are global television and this is one company we don’t do any work for. LOL The gig was for the AFL (Australian Football League) in particular Fox Sport MVP Awards (Most Valuable Player of the year) So my job was really tough this week as I was having to watch the the trams roll on past and boats arrive with their wares or people. Listen to the birds squarking and generally enjoying the sun before it went to bed. Really beautiful Spring weather we have been having. So scroll on down if you want to see the photos if not thats ok by me.
Why am I telling you this you ask, well oodles of people all over the world starting visiting each others desk to see what there were upto and snoop around, it is all Julia's fault she started this mad blog hop if you want to know more head on over to the Stamping Ground and check it out for yourself, it really is addictive and good fun.

The Whale is doing good starting to follow me around the house and sit on my knee for cuddles, he has lost some weight and over all a bit happier. His eye infection is now gone but his eyes still build up this gunk and weep, but that is common with this breed. Here he is on my bed.
So that a long post sorry about that but I thought you might like some photos of our lovely city and The Whale's progress.
Happy Crafting Everyone and please leave a comment with your link number, I love them.

What fantastic photos Eliza...I really enjoyed seeing them ;D
I also had to revisit your previous post to find out more about Whale. Oh boy is he one lucky cat ^..^
Whoops nearly forgot to mention your desk...all very shipshape and organised.
What did you say about the weather? Hmm...yep I think we frightened it away.

HI Eliza you do have a lot going on this week. Gorgeous photos of your city. #124 I am so late getting my post up.
You have some lovely new things! Are you talking about the pink ATG gun? I love mine too and wonder what I ever did before it. The pictures of your city are beautiful!
How clever to make your own stamps. Lovely to see the whale is settling in. Thanks for the visit.
Love the bears
What an interesting life you lead. Really good photos and obviously you have lots of potential for creativity there with all those goodies:)

Lovely to see the photos of a part of the world I have never, nor am very likely to now, visited.
I enjoyed going back through past posts to read the story of Whale. I had two beautiful Persian cats that were rescued from a family who said they loved them, and shed tears when I took them, but they were beyond neglected. Two years on, sadly one died of a stroke, but the other is layed beside my computer now, and she is a different creature from the one I took in. I hope Whale continues to improve. Kate x #128
Thanks for stopping by my desk. Love your crafty area by the huge window! Your photos are great, sounds like you have an interesting job, mine is well erm boring, so we won't go there! :o) glad your cat is doing well. x
Aww, just look at ‘The Whale’ , he looks so comfortable snuggled up on your bed, bless. Both of the cats I’ve had have been rescue cats. It’s beyond me that people can ill-treat the poor things but they always seem so much more loving, as if they know you saved them
Looks like you’re been having some stamping fun on your desk this week Eliza.
Thanks for dropping by this week and good luck with the candy draw…………whatever it turns out to be!
Happy Crafting!

Hi, Eliza, what a pretty view you have from your desk -- I see a lovely flowering tree or bush. Thanks for popping over to visit me already -- so fun to arrive at work and find comments already. I don't have a tape gun (yet) as my table is small and I don't want to give up the space for it, but on the other hand, it costs a fortune for adhesive in the smaller tape runners. Have a happy week! ~ Laura #124
Sorry, me again.
I meant to say that the box I have my Promarkers in is a CD case that I found on ebay. Lots on there in different sizes but I went for one of the larger one so that I could keep my Marvy LePlume’s in there too.

Hello my friend! So much to talk about! You stopped me cold when you said "alcohol ink pens". I have some pens from Tim that I can fill, are they what you are talking about? Because that is an awesome idea!! I love the pictures, makes me feel like if I drive down the block I would be there too! And the "whale" looks like a completely new man this week!!

Great post ... and photos. I was reading away and when you mentioned Docklands in your city i wondered why you didn't mention the Olympics, then I realized that you were not talking about London England but a Docklands in Australia on the other side of the world ....silly me.
Love the card on you previous post btw Thanks for dropping by my space. xx#81
Drat that work, keeping you from finishing your cards!
Thanks for the peek into your work and your city. Here in New England we're entering fall, so it was strange to hear you talking about spring. Huh.

Thanks for stopping by, yes really ought to have a go at making some stamps, especially as I prefer backgroungs and grungy stuff for stamping so it could be quite easy to do that, thanks for the nudge. BJ#100
What amazing photos. It's always so great to see where other WOYWWer's live. I'm very envious that you are going into spring too. We don't feel like we had any Summer here in the UK and it's Autumn already!!!

Imagine work getting in the way of crafting, how dare it! Your new goodies sound great, I have one of those tape runners in pink too and love it. Lovely desk there today. Monkey and his new buddy wants to play on the Lazy Susan with Hooter!! Of course I will have to come too and you can let me play on that tram!! Well they cannot get on that big plane on their own!
Thanks for your visit!
xx
Oh, I know he is over weight but you have to stop calling him the whale, lol It's bad for his self esteem! I loved the Melborne pictures, such a pretty area! waving the #50 from the hills of North Carolina :)
So nice to see some of Melbourne! Thanks a bunch for letting us vicariously travel. I've never been there, but it looks lovely. Remind me, is this your hometown or just where you are working at the moment? Glad you have had some time to get some crafting done. How much do you love your crafting matte? I've been thinking about getting one but I have a self-healing non-stick plastic one that seems to work okay. And wow am I running late on visits already! I didn't realize it was Wednesday. lol :) But for real, I didn't. Anyways, come see my newest stamps! Just a few, heeheehee...Deeyll #158
Love that mahoosive green craft mat and the fact that your desk is right inside the bay window with a lovely view out. So inspiring. Hugs, Buttons #70
Too right we want to know about The Whale - he's a different cat to the one you featured a couple of weeks ago! Well done you :D
And free city centre trams..now that's the way to get people out of their cars and onto public transport. Don't know if London would ever follow suit..
Great pics of the OB, takes me back to my days covering many different events...sigh :)

Hi Eliza thank you for popping by. What a cool job you have. Thank you for sharing the fab views of Melbourne. I really wish we lived near to the sea. It doesn't really matter what the weather is like stormy or hot and sunny there is just something about being by the water. WOYWW Hugs from Helen 5
