Look What I Have Got

There is a saying 'Good things come to those who wait' I have wanted some of these spiky little beauties that originally were used for flower decorations for ages.  Well this week when dropping into the charity group that I volunteer with, a lady who is also a volunteer told me she found some when cleaning out her shed.  What a great surprise, I am so, so happy.

I have seen many people in blogland using them for displaying their art or cards. and I have loved the effect. So here are mine, one is rusty and the other has  a patina effect, just perfect.

So onto the cards, using up some scraps and fiddling a little I created these 2 beauties, they are blank inside so they can be used for any occasion.  The paper used is by Kaiser and it is the Bonjour Series.  The Eiffel Tower is chipboard from Kaiser as well and has been inked using distress ink  ‘walnut stain’ the bling used is also Kaiser and the doily die is by Heartfelt Creations Layered Elegant Swirls.  I hope you like them.
