Hearts

This seems to something that has been around for a few years now, people finding hearts in the strangest of places, like rocks, pebbles, sand, well the list goes on.  I was just on another blog called Busy Butterfingers, part of my weekly bloghop around the world. Well Famfa showed her rock collection and one of them was a heart shapped naturally like mother nature has done, ahhh the wonders of nature, trully an amazing thing nature.  Yes I am getting to the point, sorry a bit slow today,

I am having one of those moments... LOL

Well I took these photos about a week ago.  My dad went to his friends place to chop down a few trees that need sorting before the summer comes and to collect some wood for himself.  Well check this out a natural heart shaped cut, not done by him the tree naturally has grown this way and he decided to cut a few disks for me.  Both of the disc's are taken from different sections of the same tree.  You can tell how old the tree was by the lines on the disc.

I like to put my art that I have created on the wood sometimes, how awesome is that......

Thanks Dad and thanks Mother Nature you are both never cease to amaze me...........

I think it's awesome, I have a Pinterest board for this, did you pin it? Or can I? While I was at the beach I kept hoping to find something heart related, but I also kept forgetting to look! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Wow Eliza, aren't these beautiful, lovely tactile pieces of wood..the heart shape is a real bonus! I'm so late for WOYWW visits that I've had a chance to browse too, which is nice for me. your electrical table is fascinating, aren't you clever, crafty and technically brained..now that's something else!
