WOYWW162

I have had a reasonable weekend, I had a few days off and did heaps of crafty things, I was actually nice to play and relax after such a hectic week.  Went to Geelong, came back again, got lovely mail (Thanks Danielle) went to Geelong again, worked, worked and did more work.

Now I am in the midst of the Voices Reaching Out Charity Concert that is being aired on Sunday here in Australia, so this post is being done in a hurry, as I need sleep for a few hours and then back to work again.

I managed to play a little with doodling, not zentangling, coz I really don't know if it comes up to par with zentangles, but hey I had some fun. I only used pencil, at least I gave it ago right? LOL

I found some old photos of a family trip that I wanted to finish off a layout in a scrapbook, still plenty more where that came from.  So scrapbooking is back on the agenda for me.  I have not done it for about 10 years and I really did love it.

My tins are completed and in use on the desk, if you want to see them they are in a former post.

So for me that is it.  Gotta make Julia happy over at the Stamping Ground Blog and make it short.  For those who want to spy, snoop and skip around the world head on over and with everyone’s permission you get to see what they have been up to.  Have fun, make sure you have a drink and relax.  There really are some awesome ladies & men on the desk hop, with some totally amazing art & crafts.

Enjoy, Happy Crafting until next time
Eliza

Definitely zentangle to me, I gave up on it, I love that tree outside your window, lots of shade. I do get flustered if my table is full of crap and Icant find anything, so I have promised myself that I cant afford to do that as this project is too big. nearly there only 1700 more cards to go lol

Nice tidy desk, Eliza, and that looks pretty much like a zentangle to me lol! It's a lovely drawing, anyway. Beautiful. Addictive, isn't it.

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog - hoping for great things on Shoshi's Blog Shop! I should be adding more things as time goes on.

Happy WOYWW,

Everyone's trying zentangling but me! I get addicted to things and I need another hobby like I need a hole in the head frankly!! Yours is a great first attempt and I think it looks like a zentangle and not a doodle. Really like those pots, it's great to upcycle like that. You also have a really neat and tidy desk, I find I craft better like that, my mind is less cluttered.

By George, she's got it! You can definitely zentangle, Eliza, it's fab. I've discovered that I can't! I must be too wound up to enjoy the methodical drawing process, it annoys me!!! I want instant results, wow don't I sound like a spoiled brat?? But it's true!!
Hope your work at the concert goes without a hitch...

Hi Eliza - Doodle or Zentangle? It looks like you should have done it in pen to me! Fab first attempt. I am new to it too and I hope to give a taster to my class on Friday. I hope they like it as much as I have. Its as addictive as WOYWW - what about a tangle layout!? WOYWW Hugs from Helen 69

Used to be called doddling when I was young many eons ago. Used to do it on all my school books etc. Love the scenery outside your window, looks like you have some sun, Sadly missing here in the UK.

I am still making the WOYWW rounds.... Aren't you lucky to have a nice big window in your craft space! A nice tidy desk too. Nice shelving with everything in its proper place. Thanks for the peek and for dropping by froggy designs.

Thanks for the visit Eliza.
Your desk is tidy as well, but mine is from lack of motivation!
My Niece lives in Australia (just outside Wollongong). I was there 3 years ago and hope to make it back again as your country is so lovely!
Have a super week!

Looks zentangly-ish to me, too. But not as rigid so of course I like it better than the regular "official" ones! lol I don't know how I didn't see your number earlier this week, and I always take the whole week to visit desks anyways, but I would still say I'm running terribly late for getting round to yours! So sorry! :) And your desk looks very tidy this week...love love love the Wanted layout! Adorable yet perfect for a "boy" themed layout. I hope you're caught up on your sleep now...but actually by now you are probably off on another "adventure" again, huh? Well, take care and I hope work is exciting and fun and not too exhausting and that you get to craft again soon! :)
Hugs,
Deeyll

The scrapbook page is really smart - like that a lot - and yup, that's definitely Zentangle. Next time, try pen! It would be a shame for all your hard work to get smudged and spoiled...

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh wow Eliza, of course your picture can be classes as a zentangling, it’s every bit as good as any others I’ve seen.

I can remember(just) doing those sort of drawings when I as at school back in the late 60’s…don’t even think they had a name for them back then, Lol!

It’s an extremely tidy desk you have there and the LO looks amazing……..I really should get back to some scraping.

Happy Crafting!
