WOTWW 159

What's on my desk? heaps of stuff, mine is really untidy this week, because I am in the
process of making a card, not for anyone in particular, just a cute card.

And loads of other crafting stuff, Tria Pens, glue, pencils, embossing glitter, stamp pads,
Oh and I have spotted some money tucked under the side of my doodle mat and that round
thing is a tape measure the DH just added to my desk, he thought I might like it, you
push the button and it coils back in.

Oh and this really cute hooter (Owl) I got him last week from the charity work as he isn't in
good shape and was going to be chucked.  I don't know what is wrong with some
people..... really he is so cute and worthy of a deserving home.

I mean look at him, he is cute............... he just tucks in there on the desk, like he
wants to be there, cowering from anyone trying to remove him. LOL

Oh and did you see the WOYWW badge on the desk there?
come on it is easy, really easy to find.

Why am I telling you this you ask! It is Wednesday of course and we, well hundreds of people from all over the world are showing their desks to reveal what they have been up to.  If you want to see more then head on over to Julia at The Stamping Ground and check out some more.   If you are snooping and seeing what's on my desk, please leave a comment I love them and love hearing from you as do most people on this massive blog/desk hop.  It really is a great way to travel the world from your computer.

Maybe you will join in the fun and travel the world with us and if so, no doubt I will visit you and leave a comment.  See you soon.

Eliza

So glad you gave that little owl a good home on your desk, now, if that WOYWW badge is easy to find, then I am blind! Which could be....lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

The little owl is cute - hooray for you for saving him and giving him a new home!! :)

I also have a tape measure like yours - mine is lime green. It stays in my handbag and is very useful for measuring fabric etc when I'm out. I love it!! Sad but true..... *grin*

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog.

The stamp I used is a Studio 490 stamp which I have coloured using distress markers and the water colouring technique. They blend and tone so well!!!

Great desk, and some of us would consider it uber tidy! The view is lovely, but I'm so flighty I'd be distracted by it all the time.

Does your owl have a name?

So mesmerised by your lovely view, had to concentrate to see the badge! How lovely that your DH 'adds' pieces of usefulness to your desk. And making cards for no specific reason is the best way to produce stunning cards if you ask me.

They are We R Memory Keepers stamps. I bought them at the grand opening of a local store that moved to a new location in Langley Bc Canada. They are now sold out:(

I am on a wait list to see if they get any more! I will let you know.

That owl is so darling and he does appear to be cowering, which is so sad! Is there some way to buck up his spirits? Do you just rub his head to cheer him up? :)
Your card is so cute, hope you post a "finished" picture.
Have to agree with the others about your view...lovely! And...I couldn't find the badge either! lol

I also love your view. I don't have one. All I have are pine trees and a fence outside my window. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I do have candy if you are interested. #14

Your space isn't that messy. Beautiful card! the little owl is cute! What a treasure! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. The white caddy I got from Michael's. I think Hobby Lobby has them too. I'm sure any craft store that carries organization storage would have these.
